Aug. 1. Police arrested 18-year-old Ricky Brossow of Palmer on a $100 failure to appear warrant on an original charge of driving in violation of instructional permit. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
Aug. 3. Police issued a summons to 38-year-old Cynthia A. Tirapelli of Palmer for driving without a valid operator’s license.
Aug. 3. Police arrested 30-year-old Talore Nielsen-Johnson of Palmer for driving while license revoked and on a failure to appear warrant on the original charge of driving while license suspended. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where bail was set at $350.
Aug. 3. Police arrested 27-year-old Mischa M. Deguia of Wasilla for second-degree criminal trespass. Deguia was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on her own recognizance. Police also issued a summons to Deguia on the same charge on the same day.
Aug. 4. Police responded to REM Data Services for a reported vandalism.
Aug. 4. Police continue investigating a report of graffiti on the west side of City Hall, on the walls of Bishop’s Attic, and on a dumpster located at 609 South Cobb Street.
Aug. 6. Police forwarded charges of fourth-degree assault to the district attorney’s office on 50-year-old Sarah Henry of Palmer.
Aug. 8. 6:35 p.m., Mile 61 Parks Highway, Willow. Troopers cited 45-year-old Jason Hebert of Tennessee for second-degree failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer and speeding. According to police, troopers made a U-turn on the highway at which point Hebert immediately went off-road at a high rate of speed and continued until the trail ended.
Aug. 8, 9:31 p.m., Mile 7 Knik-Goose Bay Road, Wasilla. Responding to a disturbance complaint, troopers arrested 39-year-old John Clague of Wasilla for fourth-degree assault, DUI, first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and resisting arrest. According to reports, Clague had assaulted a victim at a residence, drove a motor vehicle with a minor inside while intoxicated and resisted arrest by force. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $500 bail.
Aug. 10, 1:28 a.m., Vance Drive, Wasilla. Responding to a suspicious vehicle call, troopers arrested 22-year old Alexis Resendiz of Anchorage for DUI. Resendiz was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on his own recognizance.
