Aug. 11, 4:58 p.m. Mile 76, Parks Highway, Willow. Following a traffic stop for a moving violation, troopers arrested 21-year old Daniel Lee Williams of Palmer on a fugitive from justice warrant. According to reports, Williams had an extraditable probation violation arrest warrant out of Louisiana on the original charge of sex offence. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility pending extradition charges.

Aug. 12, 5:55 p.m., Wolverine Avenue, Wasilla. Responding to a reported assault, troopers arrested 48-year-old Troy Donahoo of Wasilla for domestic violence assault and interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime. According to police, Donahoo assaulted a family member and took their phone when the attempted to contact police. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

Aug. 13, 8:27 a.m., East Kertulla Drive, Wasilla. Troopers continue an investigation into the reported theft of a 6,000 kilowatt diesel generator and $140 cash taken from a parked vehicle. Police say the value of the stolen items was estimated at $500. Anyone with information is asked to contact AST at 373-8300.

Aug. 6, 11:12 a.m., Greensward Drive, Wasilla. Troopers are asking for the public’s help in solving the reported theft of a license plate and three burl logs from a residence. The items are valued at approximately $5,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact AST at 745-2131 or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.

Aug. 6, 4:26 p.m., Leroy Davies Road-Future Road, Talkeetna. Troopers report a 13-year-old male was moderately inured following an ATV rollover accident. Police said EMS responded to the scene transporting the youth to a local hospital. The ATV received minor damage and was turned over to the rider’s family. Police say the youth was not wearing a helmet and no citations were issued.

Aug. 13, 10:40 a.m., Big Lake. Troopers continue investigating the reported theft of two Honda generators from a Big Lake campsite. The units’ total value is estimated at $2,000. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact AST at 373-8300.

Aug. 13, 8:52 a.m., Delroy Road, Houston. Responding to a suspicious activity report, troopers arrested 39-year old Vencent M. Nelson of Wasilla on an outstanding probation violation arrest warrant on the original charge of fourth-degree assault He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $500.

Aug. 12, 11:09 p.m., Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. Responding to a disturbance complaint, troopers arrested 26-year old Hillary Hill of Palmer on an outstanding failure to appear warrant on the original charge of fourth-degree domestic violence assault. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $500 bail.

Aug. 12, 10:45 p.m., West Reliance Road, Wasilla. Troopers are expected to charge 19-year-old Carter Nielsen of Wasilla with assault after investigating a reported disturbance complaint. Police say Nielsen recklessly caused physical injury to a family member and that charges will be forwarded to the district attorney’s office.

Aug. 13, 12:40 a.m., North Farm Field Place, Wasilla. Troopers arrested 19-year-old Charles Roehl of Wasilla for DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pre-trial Facility with bail set at $1,000.

Aug. 14, 10:30 a.m., Palmer. Troopers continue an investigation into the reported theft of a firearm from an unknown location. According to reports, the complainant told police the theft occurred sometime after Aug. 2. Anyone with information is asked to contact AST at 745-2131 or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.

Aug. 14, 11:52 a.m., South Settlers Bay Road, Knik. Troopers are asking for the public’s help in solving a theft complaint. According to reports, a starter was taken from a business van sometime in the last two weeks. Anyone with information is asked to contact AST at 745-2131 or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.

Aug. 14, 3:34 p.m., Birch Harbor, Wasilla. Troopers continue an investigation into the reported theft of $3,000 cash, a water jug full of coins with an unknown value, two Canon Rebel cameras, and a set of car keys from a residence. According to reports, total value of the items stolen is approximately $4,400. Anyone with information is asked to contact AST at 373-8300.

Aug. 13, 7:24 p.m., Wasilla. Troopers arrested 40-year-old Thomas Favor of Wasilla for two counts of DUI and refusal to submit to a breath test. According to reports, police received a report of a vehicle in a ditch with a possible impaired driver. Upon arrival, troopers contacted Favor who was impaired. Witnesses state Favor was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident. Police also report favor was seen driving a second vehicle upon their arrival. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on his own recognizance.

Aug. 14, 9:11 a.m., Serendipity Loop. Police continue an investigation into the reported theft of approximately $1,000 worth of items and tools from a vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact AST at 373-8300.

Aug. 14, 1:10 p.m., Parks Highway, Wasilla. Police continue an investigation into the reported theft of approximately $500 worth of copper wire from a residence. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact AST at 373-8300.

Aug. 14, 2:39 p.m., Alvin’s Alley, Wasilla. Troopers investigated the reported theft of a chainsaw and other items valued at approximately $200 were taken from a residential yard. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact AST at 373-8300.

Aug. 13, 7:54 p.m., Alta Drive, Big Lake. Troopers arrested 55-year old Chris Mazza of Wasilla for DUI and fourth-degree misconduct involving a weapon. According to reports, after stopping Mazza, police found he was carrying a concealed weapon. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on his own recognizance.

Aug. 15, 1:49 a.m., Wasilla. Troopers arrested 33-year old Justin Hinton of Wasilla for second-degree criminal trespass. According to reports, a security guard detained Hinton at an area business as Hinton had been previously trespassed from the property. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on his own recognizance.
