Aug. 16. Police received a report of a damaged vehicle parked at the Mat-Su Borough Administration Building.
Aug. 17, Police investigated the theft of a vehicle from a residence. The vehicle was later located by park rangers in Hatcher Pass.
Aug. 18. Police arrested 30-year old Felisha M. Thomas of Wasilla on an outstanding $1,500 failure to appear for trial call warrant on the original charge of DUI. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
Aug. 19. Police arrested 36-year old Jeffrey Allen Naughton of Palmer for violating a domestic violence protection order. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
Aug. 19. Police forwarded third-degree criminal mischief charges to the district attorney’s office against 31-year old Lee Blodgett of Kirkland, New Mexico.
Aug. 21, 8:15, Schrock Road, Wasilla. Troopers are seeking the public’s help in solving a reported burglary. According to reports, various work equipment and tools valued at more than $4,000 were stolen from an area residence. Aug. 20, 2:24 a.m., Glenn Highway-Eagle Avenue, Palmer. Following a traffic stop for a moving violation, troopers arrested 20-year-old Eric Andersen of Eagle River for DUI. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on his own recognizance.
Aug. 20, 8:22 a.m., Almaden Drive, Palmer. Troopers are asking for the public to be on the lookout for a stolen vehicle. According to reports, a gray, 2003 Chevrolet pickup with Alaska license plate GRS994, was taken from a residence sometime between 9 p.m. the night before and 5 a.m. on Sunday. Aug. 20, 7:45 a.m., Redoubt Drive, Wasilla. Troopers forwarded charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance to the district attorney’s office against an unnamed individual following a reported burglary in progress. According to AST dispatch, the male suspect had broken a back window at a residence, stole food, jewelry, clothing and had prescription medicine on his person. The suspect was transported by EMS to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center due to a medical condition, troopers said.
Aug. 20, 9:28 a.m., Meadow Lakes Loop, Wasilla. Troopers continue an investigation into the reported theft of fuel and a Toyo stove valued at approximately $2,000. According to reports, the incident took place at an unoccupied residence. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact AST at 373-8300.

Aug. 20, 4:27 p.m., East Highline Drive, Wasilla. Troopers are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a reported theft from several vehicles in the area. According to reports, three vehicles had been pilfered with miscellaneous tools and power tools valued at approximately $200 taken from one. Aug. 20, 4:45 p.m., Bogard Road, Wasilla. Troopers are looking for a stolen, dark blue 2013 Subaru Outback taken from a residential driveway between 3:45-4:45 p.m. Sunday. Aug. 20, 5:59 p.m., Wellington Street, Wasilla. Troopers arrested 34-year old Felicia Fleury of Wasilla for probation violation. According to reports, Fleury was on probation for second-degree burglary and violating probation terms by consuming alcohol. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
Aug. 19, 2:15 p.m., Houston. Troopers continue an investigation into the reported theft of a pickup in the area of Millers’ Market. According to police, a 1978 two-ton brown Ford pickup with Alaska license plate GNP386 was stolen from the parking lot sometime after Aug. 17. Aug. 19, 4:47 p.m., Wasilla. Troopers are seeking the public’s help into the theft of assorted tools and a set of walrus tusks from a private residence. Anyone with information into the ongoing investigation is asked to contact AST at 352-5401 or Crime Stoppers at 735-3333.
Aug. 17, 11:26 p.m., Mile 120 Richardson Highway, Glennallen. Troopers arrested 27-year old Paul Queenie for DUI and misconduct involving a weapon. According to reports, Queenie was driving on the north side of the highway near Mile 117.5 when he crashed into a guardrail. Police say Queenie did not report the accident and instead called a tow truck and left the scene. Investigation revealed at the time of the accident, Queenie was driving under the influence and also had a handgun under the driver’s seat. Troopers state damage to the guardrail was well in excess of $5,000. Queenie was arrested and transported to the Glennallen post for processing.
Aug. 21, 4:29 p.m., Settlers Bay-Turner drives, Knik. After stopping an ATV for a moving violation, troopers arrested 54-year old Brian O’Docharty on an outstanding failure to appear warrant on the original charge of DUI. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $50 bail after serving three days.
Aug. 21, 2:01 a.m., Palmer-Fishhook Road. Troopers arrested Robert Mollica for fourth-degree assault. According to reports, Mollica assaulted a family member causing injury. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
Aug. 19, 5:18 p.m., Wasilla. Troopers arrested 38-year old Chad Hegsted of Wasilla for DUI and endangering the welfare of a child. According to reports, troopers observed the vehicle Hegsted was driving approach their marked patrol vehicle at a high rate of speed then tailgated. When the trooper pulled over, police say Hegsted almost struck the AST vehicle. According to reports, Hegsted had a juvenile in the vehicle at the time. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released.
Aug. 18, 3:33 p.m., Mile 101 Parks Highway, Talkeetna. Following a traffic stop for speeding, troopers cited 28-year old Danielle Marquez-Kohloff of Fairbanks for driving while license revoked for the original charge of DUI. She was issued a citation with a mandatory court appearance at a later date.
Aug. 20, 7:11 a.m., Talkeetna. Troopers are asking for the public’s help in solving several cases of reported vandalism. According to police, someone intentionally damaged property outside of several downtown businesses. Estimated damages are approximately $1,500. Aug. 22, 12:43 a.m., Mile 49 Parks Highway, Meadow Lakes. Responding to a disturbance complaint at Holiday Station Store, troopers arrested 34-year old Brandi Slover of Wasilla for second-degree criminal trespassing. According to reports, Slover had been previously trespassed from the store. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on her own recognizance.
Aug. 22, 4:56 a.m., Pitman-Golden roads, Wasilla. Following a traffic stop for an equipment violation, troopers arrested 23-year old Courtney Veytia of Wasilla on an outstanding arrest warrant. According to reports, Veytia was a passenger in the vehicle and failed to remand on the original charge of third-degree theft. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
