Aug. 21, Wasilla. Responding to a reported burglary in progress, troopers arrested 25-year old Ethan Vasily Kerr and 27-year old Joshua Paul Johnston, both of Wasilla, for fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. Both were transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on their own recognizance.
Aug. 21, Wasilla. Responding to a reported active disturbance, troopers arrested 50-year old Grant William Dunnigan of Palmer for fourth–degree assault and fourth-degree misconduct involving a weapon. According to reports, Dunnigan placed a family member in fear of imminent physical injury. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
Aug. 20, 2:27 a.m., Parks Highway-South Hyer Road, Palmer. Following a traffic stop for a moving violation, troopers arrested 22-year old Shelbie Standeford of Wasilla for DUI while license revoked from a previous DUI conviction. Police state that after her arrest, Standeford refused to submit to a chemical test. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $500 bail.
Aug. 22, 7:13 p.m., Alix Drive, Wasilla. Troopers arrested 28-year old Rory Vail of Wasilla on an outstanding felony warrant for kidnapping, second-degree robbery, first-degree vehicle theft and fourth-degree assault. According to reports, troopers with its criminal suppression unit were conducting an investigation in the area and observed a male, recognized as Vail, on a dirt-bike alongside the roadway. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
Aug. 22, 5:58 p.m., North Snicker Drive, Palmer. Troopers continue investigation into a reported theft of multiple fishing rods and related fishing equipment from a residence. According to reports, approximately $1,500 worth fishing equipment was stolen while the victim was in the process of moving out. Aug. 10, 1:31 a.m., Mile 1 Chesnina Road, Tazlina. Following a traffic stop for an equipment violation, troopers from the Glennallen post arrested 72-year old Michael Joseph Jordan for DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was transported to the Glennallen post for processing.
