WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT

THEFT

Nov. 15, 7:05 a.m., Pet Zoo: William Anderson was allegedly “found to have an extension cord plugged into the business to attain power.” He was summonsed for theft of services.

Nov. 15, 3:06 p.m., Wal-Mart: Police received a report of a theft.

Nov. 15, 8:07 p.m., Wal-Mart: A store employee reportedly had two juvenile females in custody for shoplifting. Value of the items stolen: $207.80. Theft charges were sent to Juvenile Intake.

Nov. 16, 11:49 p.m., Target: Police took a report of an alleged shoplifting incident.

Nov. 17, 3:55 p.m., Sportsman’s Warehouse: Jason Wood was charged with shoplifting.

Nov. 17, 6:46 p.m., Carrs: Police received a report of alleged shoplifting.

Nov. 18, 12:25 p.m.: Police received a report of a stolen iPhone.

Nov. 19, 11:16 p.m., Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Centedr: A victim reported someone broke the window of a vehicle and stole a purse from inside. Loss: $800.

Nov. 20, 9:33 p.m., Wal-Mart: A 17-year-old boy was allegedly caught shoplifting and was fighting with security when police arrived. He was eventually released to his parents.

Nov. 21, 1:05 a.m., Yakima St.: Police received a report of items, including a credit card, stolen from a vehicle. At 1:40 a.m., they pulled over a car and charged two people inside — Calvin Matthews and Cody French — with theft and fraud. A juvenile who was with Matthews and French was released to his parents with charges sent to Juvenile Intake.

DWLS

Nov. 16, 9:46 p.m., Wasilla-Fishhook Rd. near St. Peters Rd.: Jazmine Wheaton was stopped for an equipment violation. Summons: DWLS.

Nov. 17, 12:38 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Kenai Supply Rd.: Samantha Reynolds was stopped for allegedly having an obscured license plate. Summons: DWLS.

DUI

Nov. 17, 4:54 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Lucus Rd.: Scott McMahan was stopped for speeding. Charges: DUI, DWLR.

Nov. 19, 7:32 p.m., Parks Hwy. and Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.: Jason White and Thomas Lannan were in a wreck. White was arrested for DUI.

ALASKA STATE TROOPERS

THEFT

Nov. 20, 6:55 p.m., Yarrow Rd.: Someone allegedly stole a sawmill. Loss: $9,000.

Nov. 21, 7:23 p.m., N. Tina Ln.: Someone kicked in a door, entered a house and stole several electronic devices and games. Loss: $1,500.

DUI

Nov. 21, 3:18 p.m., Glenn Hwy. at Old Glenn Hwy.: Jennifer Hunter, 30, Anchorage, was reported to have left her home drunk to go to a cabin in the Palmer area. Charges: DUI, MIW. Bail: $1,500.

Nov. 22, 2:23 p.m., Hay Field Rd. and Demaree Cir.: Joshua M. Libis, 21, Wasilla, drove into a ditch. Charge: felony DUI. Bail: $5,000 with a CATPC.

Nov. 23, 5:03 p.m., Cottonwood Creek Dr.: Taylor Arnal, 28, Wasilla, was arrested at a disturbance. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

Nov. 24, 7:55 p.m., Mile 33 Glenn Hwy.: Stewart S. Gorup, 36, Anchorage, was in a sedan that went into the median. Charge: DUI. Bail: $5,000 with a CATPC.
