On 12/13/17 at approximately 1649 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted 59 year old Jimmy Moody of Wasilla on a traffic stop on the Parks Highway near Pittman Road. Investigation revealed Moody was driving his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Troopers arrested Moody and transported him to Mat-Su Pre-Trial.

On 12-12-17 at about 2233 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a silver SUV in the area of Church and Pittman for moving violations. Investigation revealed the driver, identified as 29 year old Wasilla resident Shanon Haynes, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for Theft 3rd. She was arrested remanded to MSPT where she was held on $50 bail.

Investigation revealed that Christopher Skaggs age 39 of Wasilla had damage property of a family member and was subsequently arrested for Criminal Mischief 4 and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was held without bail.

Investigation revealed that David Causey had an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear for remand on 12-8-17(original charge: Violating DVPO) serve 5 days. Causey was arrested and lodged in Mat-Su Pretrial.

On 12-04-17 at approximately 1330 hours, Alaska State Troopers, Palmer Judicial Services contacted David M. Sandvik Jr, age 32 of Wasilla, at Mat-Su Pretrial, in Palmer, AK. Investigation revealed that David Sandvik had an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear (original charge: Theft I, Theft II x2). Sandvik was arrested and remained at Mat-Su Pretrial. Bail is $5000 C/C and a court approved third party custodian.

On 12/12/2017 at approximately 1415 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a silver 2013 Ford F150 having been stolen from the area of Museum Dr. Wasilla. Investigation revealed that the pickup had been stolen along with a 9mm High Point semi-auto pistol. On 12/8/2017 Anchorage Airport Police located and recovered the pickup. The investigation is ongoing.

DAVIS stated someone had entered her house with a keys and taken several items. The dollar amount of the items was approximately $1000. On 12/12/2017, at approximately 1456 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch near mile 61 of the Parks Highway, in Willow. Investigation revealed Dustin M. Damato, age 29, of Anchorage, had been operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Damato was arrested at the scene for Driving Under the Influence. He was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded and subsequently released on his own recognizance.
