On 12/17/17 at approximately 0715 hours, AST responded to a reported burglary of a restaurant near Pittman Road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that someone forced entry into the restaurant and stole some items. Anyone with information is asked to call the Alaska State Troopers at 745-2131.

On 12/17/2017 at approximately 1349 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a burglary in the Big Lake area. Investigation revealed that, sometime between 1700 hours on 12/16/2017 and 1300 hours on 12/17/2017, someone made forced entry into a residence located near S Rogers Rd, Big Lake stealing furniture and household items estimated to be valued at approximately $1,700.00. Damages caused to the residence are estimated to be approximately $300.00. On 12/17/2017 at approximately 0010 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a green GMC Sierra pickup for an equipment violation near Trunk Road and the Parks Highway. An investigation revealed that the driver Cole G. Sprinkle, 27 yoa, of Anchorage, was in possession of 1.14 ounces of packaged marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A search warrant was granted to search Sprinkle’s vehicle. AST recovered an additional 8.9 ounces of packaged marijuana and .37 ounces of hash oil. Sprinkle is being charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third and Fourth Degree.

On 12/18/2017 at approximately 1353 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a tan 2001 Honda Civic having been stolen from the area of Cindyloo Ln., Wasilla. Investigation revealed that sometime between 12/11/2017 and 12/16/2017 the car was stolen from where it had been left for a tow truck to pick it up. On 12-18-17 at about 0151 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Beverly Lakes road on a minivan with equipment violations. Investigation revealed the driver, identified as 23 year old Donney Carlson of Willow, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for Probation Violation. He was arrested and remanded to MSPT where he was held without bail.

Investigation revealed Hay had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for FTC Probation. He was arrested and remanded to MSPT where he was held on $2000 bail.

On 12/16/2017 at approximately 1121 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of aviation fuel stolen from an airplane. The incident occurred at an airstrip in Big Lake. The victim uncovered the wings and noticed the fuel cap was off and believes 15-18 gallons of fuel was stolen. The incident occurred within the past 4 days. On 12/17/17 at 0920 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a 911 call reporting a disturbance at a residence in Big Lake. Investigation revealed Jeff Hawley (47) of Big Lake had threatened a household member with physical injury.. Hawley was arrested and later remanded to Mat Su Pretrial on the charge of Assault 4th DV and bail was set at no bail. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.

On 12/14/17, at approximately 1923 hours, Glennallen AST contacted Liana Mae Charley, 44 yoa, as the driver of a vehicle that was in the ditch and partially blocking traffic near mile 102 Old Richardson Hwy. AST investigation revealed Liana was driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while her license is revoked. Further investigation revealed that Liana Charley is on conditions of release on two separate cases and on misdemeanor probation on a third case. Liana was placed under arrest and transported to the Glennallen post where she provided a sample of her breath for the Datamaster. Liana is being held at the Glennallen post holding cell pending her arraignment. Alcohol was a factor in the case.

On 12/17/2017 at approximately 0855 hours, Troopers from the AST Post in Palmer were responding to a call for service on Norman Ave in Palmer when Troopers contacted Kyle Anderson, age 20 of Palmer, walking on the road away from the residence Troopers were dispatched to. Investigation revealed that Anderson had a $3,000 Felony Warrant stemming from an original charge of Burglary in the First Degree. Additionally, Troopers discovered Anderson was in possession of a loaded revolver. Anderson was arrested for Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 3rd Degree for being a felon in possession of a firearm and the felony warrant. He was transported to Mat Su Pre-trial and pending arraignment.

On 12/16/17, at 2045 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a Blue 2007 Pontiac on Big Lake Road near Hollywood for an equipment violation. An investigation revealed the driver, Ashley M. Miller, 31 yoa of Big Lake, was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Additionally a passenger in the vehicle, Cody W. French, 23 yoa of Big Lake, had a $100 warrant for his arrest, with an original charge of Criminal Mischief. Both were arrested and transported to Mat-Su pretrial.

Investigation revealed that Mark Collman, age 48, of Wasilla, assaulted his step-son. Collman was arrested for Assault IV-DV. Collman was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded without bail.

On 12/17/17 at 0001 hours, AST performed a traffic stop on a black 2013 Audi for speeding near mile 48 of the Parks Highway in Wasilla. Investigation revealed John Jordan, age 28 of Wasilla, was driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for the original charge of DUI. Jordan was transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where he was remanded into custody and released O/R when sober.

On 12/17/2017 at 1021 hours, AST from the Palmer Trooper Post responded to a disturbance at an address on Plumley Rd in Palmer. Upon arrival, Troopers contacted Lynk Schuyler, age 52 of Palmer, outside the residence. Investigation revealed Schuyler was trespassing at that residence, and he had an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1,500 for failing to comply with probation conditions. Schuyler was arrested for Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree and the outstanding warrant. He was transported and remanded to Mat Su Pre-trial.
