On 12-20-17 at about 2050 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted 29 year old Wasilla resident David Mastej operating a Saturn Vue at the Holiday gas station near mile 49 of the Parks Hwy. Investigation revealed Mastej took the vehicle knowing he did not have permission to do so. He was arrested and remanded to MSPT on one charge of Vehicle Theft 1st where he was held on $3000 bail.

On 12/19/2017 at approximately 2122 hours, AST received a report of a domestic disturbance on S. Starlight Lane in Wasilla. Investigation revealed a 36 year old Wasilla woman was hit in the face by a family member. Upon arrival AST attempted to locate the subject in the area but was unable to find him. An arrest warrant for the suspect has been requested from the Palmer Court.

On 12/19/2017 at approximately 1805 hours, AST received a report of a vehicle being vandalized at a park and ride in Wasilla. The vandalism caused approximately $160 worth of damage to the vehicle. Troopers are asking if anyone knows any information about this crime to contact the Troopers at 352-5401.

On 12/20/2017 at approximately 1506 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft near Sylvan Rd. Wasilla. Investigation revealed on 12/20/2017 between 0030 hours – 1230 hours a 32” LED light valued at approximately $100.00 was stolen from a gray 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup located near Sylvan Rd. Wasilla. Anyone with information regarding the theft is requested to contact the Palmer Alaska State Troopers at 907-745-2131.

On 12-20-2017 at 0858 hours, AST dispatch received a call from an employee at a business on the Palmer Wasilla Hwy near Trunk Road reporting employees were trying to get a male to leave the store but he’s refusing and appears intoxicated. Troopers responded and contacted Jace Fesler, age 41 of Wasilla, and advised he was trespassed from the business. Fesler refused to leave the property of the business and was subsequently arrested. Fesler was transported to Mat Su Pre-trial where he was remanded on the charge of Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree.

On 12/19/2017 at approximately 0901 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of several campers and RV’s being broken into near Sylvan Rd. Wasilla. Investigation revealed sometime over the previous weekend the chain link fence surrounding the property had been cut open and multiple trailers, RV’s and a pickup were broken into. It is unknown at this time if any property was stolen. Anyone with information regarding this is requested to contact the Palmer Alaska State Troopers at 907-745-2131.

On 12/18/17, at approximately 2225 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to 244 S. Sylvan Rd for a report of a possible burglary in progress. Investigation revealed that suspect(s) broke out glass from a door and entered a coin laundry business at the address and stole several hundred dollars in coins and cash from the business. On 12-20-17 at about 0316 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a reported disturbance at the Tesoro gas station on the Parks Highway near Pittman Road. Investigation revealed 34 year old Jace Fesler was causing a disturbance and then refused to leave the premises when ordered to by management. Fesler was arrested and remanded to MSPT where he was released O/R.

On 12/18/2017 at approximately 1616 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle theft. Investigation revealed that at approximately 1130 hours, a gray 1998 Dodge 3500 flatbed dual wheel pickup bearing Alaska license plate GPQ417, was stolen from near Machen Rd Wasilla. There were approximately $7240.00 of tools and parts in the Dodge as well as a Ruger 7 mm rifle which had a Zeiss 12 x 56 scope on it. At the time of the theft there was a suspicious blue Chevrolet Equinox SUV with a damaged hood and a LED light on the front grill seen driving in and out of the parking lot. Type: Warrant Arrest

On 12/19/2017 at approximately 2055 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence off Cottonwood Loop, Wasilla for a 911 disconnect. Investigation revealed an occupant, Kenneth Goetz, age 22 of Wasilla, had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of Assault 4th. Goetz was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was held on his $50 cash warrant.
