July 8, 11:44 p.m., Mile 52 Parks Highway, Willow. Conducting a welfare check, Troopers arrested 32-year-old Donny Haag of Wasilla on DUI charges. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on his own recognizance.

July 9, 8:38 p.m., Talkeetna. Following a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration, troopers cited 54-year-old Lisa Galyean for driving with a revoked license. According to reports, Galyean’s license was revoked on an original felony DUI charge.

July 10, 9:42 p.m., Cottonwood Loop, Wasilla. Troopers arrested 34-year-old Joseph Marquis of Wasilla for first-degree eluding and misuse of plates following a high speed chase. According to reports, police attempted to stop a vehicle after observing the license plates on it were registered to another vehicle. Police reported the vehicle failed to yield and reached speeds of more than 60 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone, drove into the wrong lane of travel and ran a stop sign. After several miles, the vehicle reached a dead-end road and launched over a steep embankment. After coming to rest, troopers reported the vehicle burst into flames and the driver, later identified as Marquis, fled on foot. Marquis was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $5,000 bail. Police continue the investigation.
