July 4. Police arrested 27-year-old Daniel Reid Demientieff of Palmer for felony eluding, reckless driving and driving while license revoked. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $1,000 cash/corporate along with $2,500 cash performance and a court-appointed third party.
July 6. Police issued a summons to 38-year-old Daniel Philip of Palmer for fourth-degree theft.
July 7. Police arrested 27-year old Mitchel Houser of Palmer for probation violation on the original charge of DUI. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
July 7. Police continue an investigation into an attempt to pass a $415.55 forged check. According to reports, the check was written out to the Mat-Su Borough by an unknown person.
July 9. Police issued a summons to 22-year-old Matthew C. White of Palmer for fifth-degree misconduct involving a weapon.
July 9. Police arrested 25-year old Mary E. Rozkydal of Palmer on a $5,000 warrant for first-degree vehicle theft. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
July 10, 9:51 p.m., Alder-Aspen, Wasilla. Following a traffic stop for a moving violation, troopers arrested 35-year-old Jimmy Birdwell of Wasilla on DUI charges. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on his own recognizance.
July 11, 8:35 p.m., South Settlers Bay-South Calista drives, Wasilla. Following an investigation, troopers arrested 51-year-old Herbert G. Theodore of Montana Creek on DUI charges and cited him for failure to produce an operator’s license upon request. According to police, troopers were called to follow up a disabled vehicle and discovered Theodore operated it before running it out of gas. Troopers said Theodore’s license was revoked through the year 2024 for seven alcohol-related offenses, the most recent reported in 2003. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $1,000 bail. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
July 12, 10:45 p.m. Troopers arrested 26-year-old Joseph Fagundes of Anchorage on an outstanding warrant. According to reports, police were investigating a motor vehicle collision and learned Fagundes was wanted on an outstanding $10,000 arrest warrant plus court-appointed third party on original charges of first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
