June 29, 10:30 p.m., East Duchess Drive, Palmer. Troopers arrested 31-year old David Sandvik of Palmer on an outstanding arrest warrant on the original charge of second-degree theft. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where bail was set at $2,500.
June 30, 12:25 a.m., Wasilla. Following a traffic stop, troopers arrested 25-year old Raymond Murray for probation violation. According to reports, the probation office was contacted and a probation search revealed Murray was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Probation office personnel requested he be arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
June 29, Big Lake-Hollywood roads, Big Lake. Troopers arrested 29-year old Justis Holbrook on two counts of first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, two counts of second-degree theft, two counts of second-degree vehicle theft and third-degree theft. On June 27, troopers, along with the Criminal Suppression Unit began an investigation into a strong of thefts and burglaries from cabins in the Big Lake area. During a traffic stop, police recovered a boat valued at $25,000, a stolen handgun and other stolen items, according to trooper dispatch. Holbrook was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail. Police said the investigation.
June 29, 3:59 p.m., mile 96, Parks Highway, Talkeetna. Two people were transported to the hospital following a single vehicle collision. Troopers responded to the scene after receiving a call that an RV had left the roadway, crashed, and was smoking. Troopers and area EMS responded to the scene and transported 87-year old Billy Badger and 84-year old Sharron Badger. Troopers state both had non-life threatening injuries and were wearing seatbelts. Police report the RV caught fire and was a total loss.

June 23, 12:08 p.m., South Seward-Meridian Parkway. Responding to a trespassing complaint at Walmart, police charged Angela Keller with criminal trespass through the district attorney’s office.
June 23, 2:45 p.m., East Parks Highway. Police continue an investigation into the passing of a counterfeit $100 bill at an area restaurant. Police say suspect and vehicle information was obtained.
June 23, 5:34 p.m. Police arrested Alfredo Orlando Martinez for violation of a domestic violence protection order. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
June 23, 9:12 p.m., Parks Highway. Responding to a reported aggressive panhandler at Target, police arrested Jesse Stoddard for criminal trespass. Police state Stoddard attempted to evade police as they arrived. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
June 24, 1:13 a.m. Responding to a REDDI report, police arrested Philip Thomas for DUI.
June 24, 9:21 a.m., South Seward-Meridian Parkway. Responding to a trespassing complaint at Walmart, police arrested Jamie Hale for second-degree trespassing. Police report Hale had previously been trespassed from the property. Hale was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility. The following day at 3:32 a.m., police arrested Hale a second time. According to reports, Hale had been repeatedly warned not to trespass the property but returned. Hale was arrested for first and second-degree criminal trespass and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
June 24, 9:45 a.m., East Tamarak Avenue. Called to a reported disturbance, police arrested Vanessa Gregory on two counts of third-degree domestic violence assault. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
June 25, 3:36 p.m., West Parks Highway. Police responded to Value Village after receiving a report that a vehicle had crashed into the building causing damage.
June 25, 5:48 p.m., South Endeavor Street. Responding to a reported assault, police charged Sampson Silver with fourth-degree domestic violence assault through the district attorney’s office.
June 26, 12:07 a.m., East Valley Side Circle. Responding to a disturbance complaint, police arrested Bradley Reynolds with fourth-degree domestic violence assault.
June 26, 12:33 a.m., Parks Highway. Responding to an area restaurant parking lot for a welfare check, police issued a summons to Zachary Beardsley for fourth and third-degree misconduct involving a weapon. According to reports, police were given consent to search his vehicle and discovered metal knuckles and a weapon with no serial numbers.
June 26, 3:46 a.m., North Church Street-West Seldon Road. Following a traffic stop for speeding, police arrested Tonya M. Staden for DUI. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
June 26, 11:01 a.m., Parks Highway. Police continue an investigation into a reported fraud-theft at Alaska Industrial Hardware. Officers gathered suspect information.
June 27, 4:54 a.m., Parks Highway, North Weber Drive. Responding to a motor vehicle collision, police arrested Hoover Howard III for DUI, driving without a valid operator’s license and four counts of third-degree assault. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $1,000 plus a court-approved third-party custodian.
June 27, 5:59 p.m., East Parks Highway. Responding to Sportsman’s Warehouse for a shoplifter in custody complaint, police charged a juvenile with fourth-degree theft for attempting to leave the store with a pair of sunglasses valued in excess of $90.
June 27, 8:07 p.m., Parks Highway. Responding to a report of two passed out individuals in a parked vehicle at an area fast-food restaurant; police arrested Ricky Lee Cristo on an outstanding $10,000 warrant, driving under the influence of drugs, misuse of plate, providing false information and first-degree vehicle theft.
June 27, 8:42 p.m., Knik-Goose Bay Road. Police responded to Smith Ball Fields for a reported assault after the fact complaint and charged Theodore Buzby with assault through the district attorney’s office.
June 28, 1:31 p.m., Parks Highway. Responding to a shoplifter in custody at Sportsman’s Warehouse, police issued a summons to Beau Cook for third-degree theft. According to reports, Cook stole merchandise valued at $459.97.
June 29, 7:13 a.m., Parks Highway. Police continue an investigation into a reported shoplifting complaint at Carrs. According to reports, a man had stolen items from the store and threatened the employee with a knife.
