July 10. Police arrested 22-year-old Taylore N. Moore of Palmer on a $150 failure to appear warrant on the original charge of DUI. Moore was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
July 10. Police arrested 51-year-old Darren K. Smith of Anchorage for violating conditions of release. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility without bail.
July 11. Police arrested 20-year old Tommy Walluk of Palmer on a $50 failure to appear ASAP warrant on an original charge of minor consuming alcohol. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
July 12. Police arrested 24-year-old Timothy Stroud of Palmer for DUI. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on his own recognizance.
July 13. Police arrested 34-year-old Brandi Slover of Palmer for disorderly conduct. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on her own recognizance.
July 15. Police cited 25-year-old Leann Kvamme of Anchorage for driving in violation of an instruction permit.
July 15. Police arrested 39-year-old Patrick L. Hinson of Palmer for failure to register as a sex offender. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $1,000.
July 15. Police arrested 20-year-old Joel M. Ryno of Palmer for third and fourth-degree assault. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with no bail.
July 16. Police recovered a vehicle in the woods behind Josh Drive.
July 18, 6:46 p.m., East Normal Avenue, Palmer. Troopers arrested 35-year-old Valerie Fredericks of Palmer for felony probation violation on the original charge of second-degree robbery. According to reports, AST along with its Crime Suppression Unit contacted Fredericks at the residence where she was arrested. Fredericks was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
July 18, 11:30 a.m., Shulz Drive, Wasilla. Called to a reported assault at a private residence, troopers arrested 24-year-old Eric Lucero for fourth-degree domestic violence assault. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
July 18, 5:40 p.m., Old Glenn Highway-Vera Way, Palmer. Troopers are seeking the public’s help in solving a reported hit and run. According to troopers, a 14-year-old male on a bicycle was struck by a dark colored pickup. Police state the driver didn’t stop and the youth received minor abrasions and was otherwise uninjured. Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to contact AST or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.
July 18, 7:10 p.m., Big Lake Road-North Shore Drive, Big Lake. Following a traffic stop for a moving violation, troopers cited 57-year-old Buddie Holmgren for driving while license revoked on the original charge of DUI. He was issued a mandatory court appearance citation.
July 19, 1:29 p.m., Knik-Goose Bay Road-Irwin Drive, Wasilla. Following a traffic stop, troopers arrested 38-year-old Peter Hopman of Wasilla on an outstanding arrest warrant on the original charge of second-degree theft. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $5,000 bail.
July 19, 7 p.m., Mile 71 Parks Highway, Willow. Responding to a welfare check, troopers cited 31-year old Rosenda George of Willow for first-degree unlawful contact. Police state George violated a no-contact order.
