July 21, 3:22 p.m., West Pioneer Drive. Police continue investigating the theft of a motor home, truck and two boats from a residence. According to reports, reported stolen items included a Scotty motor home with Alaska license plate CYD896, a blue truck and two, 12-foot boats.

July 21, 7:32 p.m., West Glenkerry Drive. Police continue an investigation into a reported property theft. According to reports, the complainant informed officers that property purchased at an auction had been stolen sometime in the previous six days.

July 21, 9:17 p.m., Parks Highway. Responding to several REDDI reports of a vehicle swerving and bouncing off a guardrail on Parks Highway, police stopped and arrested Zachary Noble on DUI charges. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

July 22, 10:21 p.m., North Lacy Loop-East Spruce Street. Following a traffic stop for an equipment violation, police arrested Tabetha Bishop. Police say Bishop provided a stolen identification card in an attempt to hide the fact that she had an active arrest warrant. Officers arrested her on the warrant and also charged her with providing false information.

July 22, 10:31 p.m. East Parks Highway. Responding to Sportsman’s Warehouse on a report of a convicted felon possessing a firearm was in the store, police charged Daniel Borsetti with two counts of third-degree misconduct involving a weapon (felon in possession of a firearm). Officers located Borsetti in the store and took possession of a firearm. Police say Borsetti was also seen on video possessing a different handgun which he had placed in a vehicle. Officers seized the second weapon and remanded Borsetti to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

July 23, 11:42 a.m. Police seized a vehicle in the woods near Home Depot. According to reports, officers contacted a male and female occupant in the vehicle and located drug paraphernalia inside. The occupants were released and the vehicle seized pending a drug investigation.

July 23, 1:18 p.m., Wonderland Park-West Nelson Avenue. Police charged Carl Adams Jr. with second-degree criminal trespass through the district attorney’s office. According to reports, Adams had been barred from the park twice in the previous week and instructed not to return.

July 23, 1:27 p.m., North Boundary Street. Police arrested Scott Berry for a probation violation, two counts of providing false information, and fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. According to reports, officers initially contacted two adults in a vehicle appearing to be under the influence. Officers say a male passenger was identified as Scott Berry who police say provided false information about his identity. Berry and the other occupant of the vehicle were released from the scene. At 6:09 p.m., police received a report of individuals using drugs in a parking lot on West Parks Highway. Officers again made contact with Berry who they say again provided false information as to his identity and was in possession of a bottle containing controlled substances.

July 23, 7:22 p.m., South Seward-Meridian Parkway. Responding to a business parking lot for a reported assault, police arrested Thomas Hudzinski for fourth-degree domestic violence assault. Officers state Hudzinski had assaulted a female at that location. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

July 23, 11:05 p.m., West Riley Avenue. Responding to a reported suspicious vehicle in the area, police impounded a vehicle for a drug search. According to reports, officers discovered drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle during the traffic stop.

July 24, 1:15 a.m., South Seward-Meridian Parkway. Called to Walmart on a shoplifting-threat complaint, police arrested Daniel Box on charges of first-degree robbery, two counts of third-degree assault, fourth-degree theft, and second-degree trespassing. According to reports, Box, who had previously had been barred from the store, threatened a Walmart employee and security officer with a knife inside the store while in the process if stealing merchandise valued at $108.56. Police spotted Box fleeing the scene but was located in a brushy area near Shoreline Drive and Palmer Wasilla Highway. With assistance of Alaska State Troopers’ K9 officer, Box surrendered and was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held in lieu of $6,500 bail.

July 24, 11:23 a.m., Parks Highway-Clapp Road. Following a traffic stop, police arrested Stephen Todd for DUI. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

July 24, 2:48 p.m., North Lucille Street-East Nelson Avenue. Responding to a violence report, police charged a juvenile female with fourth-degree domestic violence assault through juvenile intake. An investigation revealed the juvenile repeatedly hit a male and was the primary aggressor in the incident.

July 24, 3:46 p.m., North Lucille Street. Police continue an investigation into a reported burglary. The complainant told officers that equipment, valued in excess of $1,000, had been taken from a construction site.

July 24, 6:40 p.m., North Main Street. Police continue their investigation after they were called to A-1 Pawn on a report that someone had attempted to pawn a reported stolen weapon. According to reports, a records check revealed the weapon was reported stolen by Alaska State Troopers in 2009. Police say the person trying to pawn the weapon left the scene prior to their arrival. The weapon was seized and troopers notified.

July 24, 9:09 p.m., Newcomb Park, East Parks Highway. Police issued a summons to appear to Steven Wilson and Daniel Holtry on charges of fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. According to reports, a park ranger observed the pair in possession of and using marijuana. Police say three adults under the age of 21 were also cited for public use of marijuana.

July 25, 1:50 p.m., East Parks Highway. Police continue an investigation into the reported theft of a pair of eyeglasses valued at more than $300 from Alaska Eye Care.

July 26, 12:16 a.m., West Parks Highway-North Weber Drive. Following a traffic stop, police arrested Tim Haugan for DUI marijuana. Police say Haugan failed a series of drug recognition tests. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

July 26, 8:14 a.m. Police took possession of a phone wallet. Officers are attempting to contact the owner and the wallet was placed in safekeeping.

July 26, 12:13 p.m., North Lucille Street-West Nelson Avenue. Responding to a reported theft, police arrested Jonathan Pinckney for fourth-degree theft through the district attorney’s office. Officers say Pinckney had attempted to steal $163, and then quickly returned the money when police were contacted.

July 26, 12:55 p.m., North Elkhorn Drive. Police received a theft report. The complainant reported her purse had been stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a residence.

July 27, 7:44 a.m., West Melanie Avenue. Police took a theft report of electronic items and two firearms at a residence. Officers say the items had been taken from an unlocked vehicle.

July 27, 9:48 p.m., Parks Highway-Willow Street. Police continue investigating a fleeing and eluding incident. According to reports, officers attempted to stop the operator of a four-wheeler who eluded police for approximately 30 minutes before eventually getting the ATV stuck on a powerline trail off South Knik-Goose Bay Road near Donna’s Way. The operator then fled on foot.

July 29, 1:35 a.m., Parks Highway-Willow Street. Following a traffic stop, troopers arrested 23-year old Tyler Brewer for DUI. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on his own recognizance.

July 27, 11:27 p.m. Responding to a disturbance complaint at Valley Country Store, troopers arrested 46-year old Robert J. Yovino of Anchorage on an outstanding probation violation warrant on the original charge of fourth-degree assault. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $50.
