June 25, 4:45 a.m., Wasilla. Following a traffic stop, troopers arrested 25-year-old Anthony Thomas of Wasilla on an outstanding $50 misdemeanor, failure to appear warrant on an original charge of violation of an instructional permit. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

June 25, 12:42 a.m., Wasilla. Following a traffic stop for an equipment violation, troopers arrested 54-year old Rita Harding of Wasilla on DUI charges. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and later released on her own recognizance.

June 27, 1:32 a.m., Birch Road, Wasilla. Responding to a possible burglary in progress, troopers arrested 31-year-old Nicholas White and 28-year-old James Oliveri, both of Wasilla. Both men were charged with first-degree criminal trespass, and possession of burglary tools. White was also charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and fifth-degree misconduct involving a weapon. Police say Oliveri also had an outstanding failure to appear warrant on the original charge of second-degree criminal trespass. According to report, troopers arrived to find the two men hiding outside a private residence. Troopers stated White ran from troopers but was quickly subdued and he also had a concealed weapon on his person and failed to immediately notify them. Both were remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where White was held without bail and Oliveri on a total of $750 bail.

June 16. 7:56 a.m., East Financial Avenue. Police continue an investigation into a reported fraud at Auto Zone.

June 16, 8:17 p.m. Ride lot at Seward-Meridian Parkway. Police took possession of a found vehicle key.

June 17, 12:30, South Knik-Goose Bay Road-South Lakewood Drive. After spotting a moving vehicle headed in the wrong lane on KGB, police stopped and arrested Jill Barnhart on DUI charges. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.

June 17, 11:15 a.m., North Boundary Street. Police filed second-degree theft charges through the district attorney’s office against Anthony Harootunian after investigating a theft complaint at Gold Rush Jewelers. According to reports, Harootunian ran off with jewelry from the business prior to officers arriving.

June 17, 4:26 p.m., Parks Highway. Responding to a shoplifter in custody complaint at Sportsman’s Warehouse, police charged Kassandra Wasson with third-degree theft through the district attorney’s office. According to reports, Wasson stole $431.92 in merchandise from the store.

June 17, 741 p.m., Parks Highway. Police continue an investigation into the theft of a ring and case from Fred Meyer.

June 17, 11:36 p.m., East Parks Highway-South Hermon Road. Conducting a stop for moving and equipment violations, police arrested Keng Xiong for DUI. Xiong was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.

June 18, 9:33 a.m., East Herning Avenue. Police investigated a reported theft of equipment at Mudbuster’s Car Wash. The theft is in excess of $500.

June 18, 5:57 p.m., Parks Highway. Responding to a reported use of stolen checks at Walgreen’s, police arrested Kendra Jackson for second-degree theft and use fraudulent use of an access device. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.

June 18, 8:10 p.m., East Swanson Avenue. Responding to Nunley Park for a reported disturbance, police arrested Daniel Box for fourth-degree domestic violence assault. Police state Box caused fear of physical injury to another person. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail until arraignment.

June 19, 12:01 a.m., South Seward-Meridian Parkway. Police continue an investigation into the reported vehicle theft from Walmart Parking lot. According to reports, the vehicle had been stolen sometime between 8:30-11:59 p.m. the previous evening.

June 19, 12:49 a.m., Parks Highway-Yenlo Street. Called to a disturbance complaint at a West Airway Circle residence, police arrested Randy Kurtze on DUI charges. Police say Kurtze left the residence driving in an erratic manner. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.

June 19, 11:36 a.m. Police turned a found weapon over to Alaska State Troopers. According to reports, Wasilla Police Department officers were given the weapon after a passerby found it in a city roadway. A records check revealed the weapon was reported stolen in an AST case opened several days earlier.

June 19, 2:49 p.m., West Winter Avenue. Responding to a disturbance complaint, police arrested Tammy Fournier on two counts of fourth-degree domestic violence assault, first-degree harassment, disorderly conduct and domestic violence criminal mischief. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail until arraignment.

June 20, 11:58 p.m., East Palmer Wasilla Highway. Responding to a suspicious vehicle report at an area business, troopers arrested David Mastej and Desere Jenks on outstanding warrants. Police say the vehicle the two were in was impounded pending a search warrant for drugs.

June 21, 2:43 p.m., South Knik-Goose Bay Road. Police continue an investigation into a rash of thefts from City Center shops. Police state the stolen items are valued at more than $3,000.

June 21, 5:51 p.m., West Parks Highway. Police continue investigating a counterfeit $20 bill passed at Value Village. Police state the bill was passed by a female.

June 22, 1:05 a.m., Old Matanuska Road. Responding to a suspicious vehicle report at an area business, police arrested Jean Shilts and Henry Earl Levan for first-degree theft. According to reports, a records check on the vehicle parked in a back parking lot revealed it was reported stolen out of Anchorage June 18. Officers waited and saw Shilts and Levan return the rig. Police said both were possession of the vehicle’s keys. Both were remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
