April 28, 2:45 p.m., Glenn Highway near Mile 28. Following up a REDDI report, troopers arrested 46-year-old Lily McCord of Big Lake for felony DUI and driving while license suspended. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where bail was set at $10,000 and a court-appointed third party.
April 29, 11:04 p.m., Parks Highway-Pittman Road, Wasilla. Conducting a traffic stop for a minor violation, troopers arrested 28-year-old Jason M. Jensen of Wasilla on an outstanding warrant arrest for failure to appear at a March 31 trial call on an original charge of vehicle theft and fifth-degree misdemeanor involving a controlled substance. Jensen was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $50.
April 30, 2:04 a.m., West Wasey Road, Wasilla. Conducting a traffic stop for an equipment violation, troopers arrested 29-year-old Stephanie Martin of Wasilla for DUI. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and released on her own recognizance.
April 30, 11:25 p.m., Knik River camping area-Old Glenn Highway, Palmer. Responding to a reported domestic disturbance, troopers arrested 41-year-old Aaron M. Brown of Anchorage for domestic violence assault. According to reports, Brown assaulted and injured a 40-year-old female. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail pending arraignment.
Wasilla Police Department
April 25, 7:13 p.m., Wasilla Lake Park-East Parks Highway. Police continue investigation into an assault after the fact. According to reports, a female had been assaulted while walking her dog. The victim left the area with minor injuries and reported the assault an hour later.
April 25, 6:47 p.m. Police took possession of a cell phone turned in to the department by an anonymous female. Police state it unknown where the phone was found, and placed it in safekeeping.
April 26, 7:01 a.m., Palmer Wasilla Highway-Parks Highway. Police responded to a single vehicle collision involving a light pole. Reportedly, the driver fell asleep at the wheel and struck the pole knocking it down.
April 26, 1:45 p.m., East Sun Mountain Avenue. Responding to a trespassing complaint at Lowe's, police issued criminal trespass charges to the district attorney's office against Karen Jackson and Jeffrey Moore. Police state both were in a vehicle in the parking lot and had been previously trespassed from the property.
April 26, 3:43 p.m., Parks Highway. Responding to a shoplifter in custody at Sportsman's Warehouse, police charged Destini McGhie with fourth-degree theft through the district attorney's office. According to reports, McGhie had stolen $20 in merchandise and attempted to leave the store.
April 26, 4:07 p.m. Parks Highway. Police issued a summons to appear to Christina Maxx Lieb for third-degree theft. According to reports, officers were called to Fred Meyer for a shoplifter in custody report. Police say Lieb attempted to steal more than $320 in merchandise and leave the store.
April 26, 4:52 p.m., West Parks Highway. Police continue investigation into a reported theft from a local business. The complainant reported a male and female had entered the business on April 25 and 26 and stole items.
April 26, 6:48 p.m., North Lucille Street. Investigating a reported assault, police issued a summons to appear to Lizzie Robertson for fourth-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. According to reports, an argument between neighbors became physical at which point a phone was knocked to the ground and damaged beyond repair, and an individual was struck.
April 27, 10:51 a.m., Parks Highway. Responding to Wendy's restaurant after receiving a report if a vehicle colliding with the building, police cited a male without a regular license for driving in violation of an instructional permit without a licensed driver 21 or older with him in the vehicle.
April 27, 1:32 p.m., 3:14 p.m., Parks Highway. Called to a shoplifter in custody report at Sportsman's Warehouse, police charged Troy Hays with fourth-degree theft. Police say Hays had stolen $28 in merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying.
April 27, 8:55 p.m., South Clapp Street. Police continue investigation into the theft of a purse from the Menard Sports Complex. The complainant stated she had left her purse unattended and later discovered it missing.
April 27, 10 a.m. South Check Street-East Riley Avenue. Conducting a traffic stop for traffic violations and erratic driving, police issued a summons to Crystal Madison for fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. Police report Madison, a passenger in the vehicle, was in possession of black tar heroin.
