On 11/25/2017 at approximately 0112 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 1993 blue Jeep Cherokee for multiple equipment and a moving violation near mile 14 of the Talkeetna Spur in Talkeetna. An investigation revealed the driver, David Hywell Evans, age 28 of Talkeetna, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to comply with conditions of his probation from a prior DUI conviction. Evans was placed under arrest for DUI and the warrant. He was transported and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer.

Dispatch Text: On 11/24/17 at approximately 1810 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to the Three Bears store at PWH and Stringfield for a reported suspicious vehicle. Troopers contacted the vehicle, a blue Saturn Sedan in the parking lot and the driver, Gilbert Serrano age 56 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Serrano was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol and marijuana. Serrano was arrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer where he was remanded into custody to be released on his own recognizance.

Investigation revealed Abarca had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for theft. Abarca was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pre-trial.

Troopers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and investigation revealed the driver, Adrian Latocha, age 29, of Wasilla had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest. He was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT.

Investigation revealed that two Toyostoves, valued at approximately $1000.00 each were taken from the residence. Type: Criminal Mischief and VCOR Dispatch Text: On 11/23/17 at about 1225 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a 911 call for a disturbance in progress on E Cottrell Campus. Troopers arrived and contacted 40 year old Palmer resident Jeffrey Brown. Investigation revealed Brown attempted to break into a family member’s safe, causing damage to the safe. Further investigation revealed Brown was on court ordered conditions of release to that family member. Brown was subsequently arrested for Criminal Mischief in the 5th degree (domestic violence). Brown was transported and remanded to Mat Su Pretrial with bail set at no bail on the new case and new third party requirement on the older pending case.

Dispatch Text: On 11/23/17 at approximately 0044 hours, Glennallen AST responded to a disturbance at the Tazlina apartments. AST investigation at the scene resulted in AST contacting the driver of a 2012 Nissan. The driver was identified as Lishaw Lincoln-Ewan, age 37. Investigation revealed Lishaw to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Lishaw was placed under arrest and transported to Glennallen post. Alcohol is a factor in the case.

Investigation revealed the passenger Tazalina Harker, age 26 of Wasilla, had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest. She was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT.

Dispatch Text: On 11/23/2017 at approximately 0318 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Guernsey Road in the Point Mackenzie area. Investigation revealed a physical fight between two adult males resulting in minor injuries to both parties. On male placed another in fear of serious injury by means of a firearm. Troopers responded and the incident report will be forwarded to the District Attorney for review of criminal charges. Alcohol was a factor in this incident.

Investigation revealed a passenger, 28 year old Anchorage resident Samuel Davis, had three outstanding warrants for his arrest for Fail to Comply with Probation Original Charge Assault 4th x2 as well as Fail to Appear on charges of DWLR and Resisting Arrest. He was arrested and remanded to MSPT and held on $2250 bail.

Type: Assault 3rd & 4th on a Peace Officer/Resisting Arrest x2/Disorderly Conduct
Dispatch Text: On 11-23-17 at about 0213 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address off Quiet Circle for a reported disturbance. While investigating the disturbance, a male involved, identified as 27 year old Wasilla resident Chris Elving, attempted to fight with Troopers. Troopers attempted to detain him, however he continued to resist violently. At that point, a bystander, identified as 22 year old Wasilla resident Bernadette Myers, forcefully pulled one of the Troopers away from Elving, ripping his jacket and injuring the Trooper. Elving then produced a folding knife and activated the blade while advancing towards the injured Trooper. A second Trooper deployed his Taser on Elving, subduing him long enough to take him into custody. Both Elving and Myers were arrested and remanded to MSPT. Myers was held on $1000 bail on charges of Assault on a peace officer 4th degree as well as Resisting Arrest. Elving was held on $20,000 bail plus CATP on charges of Assault on a peace officer 3rd Degree, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. The Trooper was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released.

Dispatch Text: On 11/21/2017 at approximately 2318 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a gold sedan for an equipment violation near the intersection of the Parks Highway and Vine Road in Wasilla. An investigation revealed James Jonathan Smith (56 YOA of Wasilla), had an arrest warrant for a probation violation 3 days to serve. Smith was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial in Palmer.

On 11/17/17 at approximately 2235 hours, Glennallen AST conducted a traffic stop on a gold colored Chevy Malibu near mile 98 Richardson Hwy. for a traffic violation. AST investigation revealed the driver Felisha Marquez was driving the vehicle while under the influence of alcoholic beverages and drugs. Felisha also had drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Felisha was placed under arrest and transported to Glennallen post.

Dispatch Text: On 11/22/2017 at approximately 1356 hours, AST took a report of Burglary at an apartment located on Sylvan in Wasilla. Juvenile female reported someone had entered her unlocked apartment and stole miscellaneous piercing jewelry and clothing. The estimated value of the jewelry is approximately $100.00 and the clothing was valued at $150.00. Investigation is continuing.

Dispatch Text: On 11-22-17, at approximately 1426 hours, members of the Palmer Criminal Suppression Unit responded to a residence off Victor Circle and contacted Devon M. Brown, age 19 of Anchorage. Brown was arrested on several outstanding arrest warrants for Attempted Murder I, Misconduct Involving Weapons I, Assault III and Misconduct Involving Weapons II x2. Brown was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and remanded into their custody. Bail was set at $100,000 cash only and court approved third party.

Dispatch Text: On 11/22/2017 at approximately 0916 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a 911 call with the sound of a disturbance in the background. Troopers responded and investigation revealed Terry Tomlinson age 50 of Houston, had assaulted a family member causing minor injury at his residence near Forest Hills Dr. Wasilla. Tomlinson was arrested for Assault IV DV, transported and remanded into Mat-Su Pre-Trial without bail.

Investigation revealed Jonathan Settle, age 24 of Wasilla had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Release on the original charge of Burglary in the First. Settle was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was held $2,500 bail.

Dispatch Text: On 11/21/17, at approximately 1914 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to the vicinity of Parks Highway and Big Lake Road for a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Investigation revealed that the driver, Charlotte Analoak, age 36 of Big Lake, had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. Analoak was placed under arrest and transported to the MATSU Pre-Trial Facility where she was remanded with a $500 cash performance bond for her second DUI in ten years.

Dispatch Text: On 11-20-2017 at 1459 hours, a female called dispatch to report her car was broken into at the Seward Meridian Park and Ride. Troopers responded to investigate. Investigation revealed a car stereo, windshield wipers and a garage door FOB was stolen from a red 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. No sign of forced entry was observed on the vehicle. Investigation revealed Richard Ostterhaus (54) of Wasilla had assaulted a household member by punching and strangling her. AST was unable to locate Osterhaus and the charges of Assault 4th DV and Assault 3rd DV be sent to the Palmer DA Office and an Arrest Warrant will be requested. Investigation is continuing and alcohol is believed to be a factor.

An investigation revealed Jeremiah Emilo Proveauex, 31 YOA of Wasilla, had a $50 warrant for his arrest, original charge improper use of registration/ title/ plates. Proveauex was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial in Palmer

Dispatch Text: On 11/20/17 at 2150 hours, AST performing safety corridor traffic enforcement responded to mile 49 of the Parks Highway in Wasilla for the report of a hit and run. AST performed a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, a white 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix, near mile 45 of the Parks Highway. Investigation revealed Nicole Robinson, age 54 of Wasilla, was driving while under the influence of alcohol and refused to provide a breath sample for the Datamaster. Robinson had 2 prior convictions for DUI in the preceding 10 years and was arrested for the original charges of Felony DUI and Felony Refusal. Robinson was transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where she was remanded into custody and held on $7,500 bail with a court approved third party condition.

Dispatch Text: On 11/21/2017 at approximately 0213 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on Maplewood Drive in Big Lake for a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed Pasi Faamatuainu, age 53 of Big Lake, was in possession of a concealable firearm and is a convicted felon. Faamatuainu was arrested and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $750 bail.

Dispatch Text: On 11/21/2017, Alaska State Troopers arrested Patrick Seltenreich, age 51 of Saint Mary, Idaho, for failure to comply with conditions of release on the original charge of MICS 3rd / MICS 4th, failure to appear for trial call on the original charge of Assault 4th degree and failure to appear for trial on the original charge of assault 4 X's 2 and criminal mischief 4th. Bail on the warrants was $15,000.00 with a court approved third party. Seltenreich was remanded to Mat Su Pretrial Facility.

Type: Motor Vehicle Collision - Injury Dispatch Text: On 11/21/2017, at approximately 1531 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Vine Road and Hollywood Road, in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Alicia M. Lopez, age 23, of Wasilla, was operating a white 2009 Dodge Avenger east on Hollywood Road when she failed to stop for the stop sign and collided with a grey 2014 GMC Van driven by Naomi J. McClain, age 35, of Willow. Both vehicles were totaled in the collision and towed from the scene. All drivers and passengers were wearing their safety belts and one person reported minor injuries. Lopez was issued a citation.

Dispatch Text: On November 19, 2017 Alaska State Troopers responded to a burglary in progress on Garten Drive in Houston. Initial report indicated the complainant observed a male and female stealing/taking items from the property. AST contacted BRANDON DEWAYNE HAXTON age 34 and APRIL DAYLENE MURRAY age 33 both of Wasilla on scene. BRANDON DEWAYNE HAXTON and APRIL DAYLENE MURRAY were arrested and transported to Matsu pretrial and booked in on the above charge. BRANDON DEWAYNE HAXTON bail was set at 1500 cash/corporate and APRIL DAYLENE MURRAY bail was set at 1000 cash/corporate.

Dispatch Text: On 11/21/2017 at approximately 0917 hours, AST took a report of fraud regarding an individual obtaining three different access devices and charging the credit cards. The victim advised her child’s information had been used to obtain the credit cards with balance totaling approximately $1800.00 between cards. Investigation is continuing.
