On November 13, 2017, Palmer Police arrested NORMAN MELGREEN JR., age 43 of Anchorage, for Vehicle Theft 1, False Information, Driving While License Revoked, and a $1000.00 warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. MELGREEN was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where bail was set at $6000.
On November 13, 2017, Palmer Police arrested ANTHONY A. HAYS, age 64 of Palmer, for Disorderly Conduct. HAYS was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial, where he was released on his own recognizance.
On November 14, 2017, Palmer Police issued a Summons to Anthony A. Hays, age 64 of Palmer, for Criminal Trespass 2.
On November 15, 2017, Palmer Police arrested SYDNEY G. BROWN, age 24 of Palmer, on a $500 warrant for Failure to Appear for a Disposition Hearing on an Original Charge of Operating Under the Influence. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.
On November 16, 2017, Palmer Police received a theft report from a 30-year-old Palmer woman.
On November 17, 2017, Palmer Police received a report from a 68-year-old Palmer man that an off-road vehicle was stolen from his storage locker, in Palmer.
On November 18, 2017, Palmer Police arrested TROY D. HOLZHEIMER, age 28 of Palmer, on a $50 warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an Original Charge of Criminal Trespass. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.
On November 19, 2017, Palmer Police arrested ADAM J. AVAKUMOFF, age 35 of Wasilla, for Assault 4 on a Police Officer and Disorderly Conduct. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where bail was set at $1,000.

On 11/28/2017 at approximately 0128 hours, AST observed a vehicle traveling north bound on the Parks Highway near Museum Road in Wasilla with a front headlight out. AST conducted a traffic stop on a black 1997 Honda SUV near THE intersection of the Parks Highway and Vine Road. An investigation revealed the driver Devin Allen Blawat (34 YOA of Big Lake) was driving on a revoked license and also had a $100 warrant FTA bail hearing OC Refusal/ MIW 4th (3PA-17-1524CR). Blawat was arrested for DWLR and on the arrest warrant. Blawat was transported to Matsu Pretrial in Palmer.

On 11/27/2017, at approximately 1304 hours, Alaska State Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a grey 2008 Honda Accord at the intersection of the Parks Highway and Forest Lake Drive, in Big Lake, for a moving violation. The vehicle eluded AST at speeds in excess of ninety miles per hour in heavy traffic. During the pursuit the vehicle nearly collided with other motorists. AST discontinued the pursuit as the suspect entered a residential neighborhood. The vehicle was located short time later at a residence on Beaver Lake Road. The suspect, Zackery R. Cornelius-Vincent, age 22, of Big Lake was arrested for Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer in the 1st Degree as well as Reckless Driving. Cornelius-Vincent was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded on a $2,000 bail.

On 11/27/2017 at approximately 1559 hours, AST took a report of theft from Three Bears on Knik Goose Bay Rd. Investigation revealed the suspect Amber Magee age 26 of Wasilla, concealed two boxes of ammo in her purse valued at approximately $75.00 and attempted to leave the store without paying. Magee was issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

On 11/27/2017 at approximately 1024 hours, AST took a report of theft of lumber from a construction site located on off of Schrock Road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed someone had stolen a bundle of 2x4 and 2x6 lumber, valued at approximately $1800.00. The theft occurred sometime between 11/25/2017 and the time it was reported. Investigation is continuing.

On 11/27/2017 at approximately 1525 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an active disturbance near Marble Way Wasilla. Troopers responded to the scene and investigation revealed Scott Blake age 36 of Wasilla, while intoxicated caused approximately $500.00 - $1,000.00 of damage to his families residence located near Marble Way, Wasilla. Blake then went to a neighbor’s yard and swung at the neighbor prior to being subdued by the neighbor. Blake’s nose was broken. Medics responded and transported Blake to the hospital where he was treated for his injury. Blake was released from the hospital and arrested for Criminal Mischief IV DV, Assault IV Fear and Disorderly Conduct. Blake was transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial where he was remanded without bail.

On 11-17-17 at approximately 1505 hours, AST responded to a residence off of Vine Road in Wasilla for a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed that James Keene, 38 of Big Lake, physically assaulted a household member. Keene fled the scene prior to AST's arrival and was unable to be located. An arrest warrant has been requested for Keene's arrest for Assault 4th Degree DV.

On 11/27/2017 at 1118 hours, an employee with the United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA) called dispatch to report locks had been cut on a trailer and a winch was stolen. Troopers responded to the USDA building located at 1508 E. Bogard Rd to investigate. Investigation reveals the locks were cut on two cargo trailers and stole a 3,500 lb Viper winch valued around $300. The theft occurred sometime over the weekend.

On 11-27-2017 at 0937 hours, Trooper dispatcher received a report that someone threw a rock through a window at Alaska Mobility located at 5515 E. Fireweed Road in Wasilla. Investigation reveals sometime between 1130 hours on 11-26-17 and today at 0930 hours on 11-27-17, someone threw a rock through one of the business windows. The rock landed inside hitting some of products. The damage to the window is estimated at approximately $900.

On 11-26-17 at about 2123 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to Stacy Street in Wasilla for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed 56 year old Wasilla resident Grace Jensen damaged property belonging to a family member in an amount less than $250. Further, while being arrested, Jensen recklessly engaged in conduct that created a hazardous condition for that family member. She was arrested and remanded to MSPT and held without bail. Alcohol was believed to be a factor in this incident.

On 11/26/2017 at approximately 1926 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received reports of an intoxicated driver at the end of Maud Road, Palmer. Troopers located the vehicle which was still on Maud Road and contacted the driver, Robert Blodgett, age 40 of Palmer. Investigation revealed Blodgett was operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol. Blodgett was arrested and transported to MATSU pretrial where he booked on charges of DUI, Refusal, and Disorderly Conduct and released on his own recognizance.

On 11/26/17, at approximately 1810 hours, Alaska State Troopers were contacted by citizens at the MATSU West AST Post. Investigation revealed that one of those citizens, Tarah Way, age 32 of Wasilla, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Way was arrested and transported to the MATSU Pre-Trial Facility where she was remanded for the warrant.

On 11/27/2017 at approximately 0235 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Shenandoah near Richmond in Palmer for a report of a single vehicle rollover. Investigation revealed Christopher Holland, age 44 of Palmer, was driving his 2006 Chrysler on Shenandoah when he lost control of his vehicle, striking a tree, and overturning. Further, Holland was under the influence of alcohol. Holland was arrested and remanded to the custody of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $500 Bail.

On 11/26/17, at approximately 2209 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a location on Corn Street in Houston for a report of criminal mischief. Investigation revealed that Aaron Reedy, age 37 of Houston, had purposely damaged a vehicle belonging to another person. Reedy had left the location prior to Alaska State Troopers arriving. Charges are being completed and will be forwarded to the District Attorney's office.

Investigation revealed that 53 YO Palmer resident Bernadette Stone destroyed mutual family property valued at approximately $200. Stone was subsequently arrested on charges of Criminal Mischief 5 DV and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where she was held without bail.

On 11/26/17 at 2318 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Hudson Circle for a report of a driver sleeping at the wheel in a 2012 GMC Acadia. Investigation revealed that Deborah Houseman age 51 of Palmer was operating her vehicle under the influence. Houseman was subsequently arrested for DUI and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where she was held on $500 bail.

At 0014hours Ronald Causa contacted AST Dispatch to report that there was a suspicious vehicle on his business property at 4935 Reliance Rd in Wasilla, off of Knik-Goose Bay Rd. Causa then followed the suspicious vehicle from the Knik-Goose Bay area to a location near Hyer Rd. where the driver of the suspicious vehicle fired a firearm at Causa's vehicle as the two vehicles passed each other on Hyer. Further investigation resulted in APD conducting a traffic stop and idnetifying Sen Saelee as driver of the suspicious vehicle and the shooter. Saelee was arrested and remanded to the Anchorage Correctional Center.

On 11/25/2017 at approximately 2316 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a gold 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 for a minor traffic offense. Investigation revealed the driver Cody J. Zweifel, age 25, of Palmer was driving under the influence and on probation. Zweifel was arrested for DUI and Violation of Probation. Zweifel was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial with no bail.

On 11/25/2017 at approximately 2150 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted a vehicle in the ditch near Sylvan Road in Wasilla. An investigation revealed the driver, Jeffery Vinton Polk, age 45 of Wasilla, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Polk was placed under arrest for DUI and later refusal. He was transported and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer and released on his own recognizant.
