On November 17, 2017 at 0739 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on the Parks Highway near Seward Meridian Parkway.

collision.
On November 17, 2017 at 1204 hours, Wasilla Police received a report of a theft. The complainant reported someone had stolen her planner and wallet from her shopping cart at Fred Meyer. Officers located Sabrina Gates in the parking lot where she admitted to the theft and turned over all the items which had been stolen. Gates was arrested for two counts of theft in the 2nd degree and one count of theft in the 4th degree.
On November 17, 2017 at 1410 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Carrs for a reported trespassing. Officers arrested Derek Henson for criminal trespass in the 2nd degree and transported him to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility.
On November 17, 2017 at 1354 hours, Wasilla Police observed Elijah Beck on Carrs property. Beck was subsequently arrested for criminal trespass in the 2nd degree and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility.
On November 17, 2017 at 1455 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Fred Meyer for a reported shoplifting. An investigation revealed Richard Johnson had stolen items valued at $83.96. Johnson was charged with theft in the 4th degree through the District Attorney's office.
On November 17, 2017 at 1441 hours, Wasilla Police received a report of individuals were using drugs in a vehicle in the Home Depot parking lot. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with Christopher Weeks and two other men. An investigation revealed the vehicle had been stolen out of Anchorage on November 8th. Weeks also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Weeks was arrested on the warrant and the investigation into the drug activity and stolen vehicle continues.
On November 18, 2017 at 1007 hours, Wasilla Police responded to the intersection of the Parks Highway and Crusey Street for a motor vehicle collision.
On November 18, 2017 at 1438 hours, Wasilla Police conducted a traffic stop on W. Commercial Drive for an expired registration. The driver was identified as Zachary Butts who was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Butts vehicle was impounded for further investigation.
On November 18, 2017 at 1914 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Fred Meyer after receiving a report that there was a male in the store who had warrants. On scene, officers made contact with Kevin Sathre who was also found to be in possession on a controlled substance. Sathre was arrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility.
On November 18, 2017 at 2227 hours, Wasilla Police responded to the Extreme Fun Center on E. Old Matanuska Road after receiving a report of a theft. Three subjects were located and issued trespass warnings.
On November 20, 2017 at 0912 hours, Wasilla Police responded to the area of Glenkerry Drive and N. Lucus Road after receiving a report of a vehicle which had been in the area for five hours with the light on, but the vehicle was not moving. An investigation revealed the driver; John Caverly was driving under the influence. Caverly was arrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility.
On November 20, 2017 at 1059 hours, Wasilla Police received a report of a theft. The complainant reported fuel had been stolen from a vehicle and damage had been caused to the vehicle's fuel tank while parked in the Sears parking lot.
On November 20, 2017 at 1250 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on the Parks Highway at N. Boundary Street.
On November 20, 2017 at 1438 hours, Wasilla Police responded to the intersection of E. Quiet Circle and S. Hermon Road for a motor vehicle collision.
On November 20, 2017 at 1707 hours, Wasilla Police responded to the My House Coffee Shop on N. Willow Street for a reported domestic disturbance. Following an investigation, Anne Rogers was arrested for violating a domestic violence protective order. Rogers was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility where she was held without bail pending arraignment.
On November 21, 2017 at 0023 hours, Wasilla Police conducted a traffic stop at E. Mayflower Lane and E. Palmer Wasilla Highway for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as Larry Miller who was found to be driving without a valid operator's license, without proof of insurance and he also had not registered the vehicle after having owned it for more than a year. Miller was issued a summons to appear in court for the offenses.
On November 21, 2017 at 1346 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of E. Parks Highway and N. Main Street.
On November 21, 2017 at 1435 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on N. Crusey Street at Westpoint Drive. Driver Brittney Jordan was cited for failing to exercise due care to avoid a collision.
On November 22, 2017 at 0008 hours, Wasilla Police conducted a traffic stop on E. Palmer Wasilla Highway at Shoreline Drive for a moving violation. The driver was identified as Casey Kinsora who was found to be driving without a valid operator's license. Kinsora was issued a summons to appear in court for the offense and additionally cited for no proof of liability insurance and for failing to stop when emerging from a parking lot.
On November 22, 2017 at 0936 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a residence on N. Elkhorn Drive for a reported burglary/theft from a construction site. The complainant reported a number of tools and equipment had been stolen. The case is currently under investigation.
On November 22, 2017 at 1556 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Chimo Guns on E. Herning Avenue for a reported theft. The complainant reported someone had entered the business and stole merchandise valued in excess of $2,000. The case is currently under investigation.
On November 22, 2017 at 2014 hours, Wasilla Police conducted a traffic stop at E. Nelson Avenue and N. Lucille Street for an expired registration. The driver was identified as Jeremy Overman who was found to be driving without a valid operator's license. Overman was issued a summons to appear in court for the offense.
On November 22, 2017 at 2043 hours, Wasilla Police conducted a traffic stop at E. Susitna Avenue and S. Talkeetna Street. All of the vehicle's four occupants were arrested. Kyle McManus was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant for failing to comply with his conditions of probation on original charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the 2nd, 4th and 5th degrees and misconduct involving weapons in the 2nd degree. Lance Fredericks was arrested for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear on original charges of DUI and concealment of merchandise. Courtney Weeks was arrested for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear on original charges of concealment of merchandise. Kayde Kemp was arrested and charged with
misconduct involving a controlled substance in the 4th degree.
On November 23, 2017 at 1257 hours, Wasilla Police received a report of an individual who was walking into traffic near Fred Meyer. Officers responded and made contact with Nicholas Patterson who had been previously trespassed from Fred Meyer. A record check revealed an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Patterson was arrested on the warrant and additionally charged with criminal trespass in the 2nd degree.
On November 23, 2017 at 1519 hours, Wasilla Police conducted a traffic stop at E. Swanson Avenue and N. Crusey Street on a vehicle which had been reported to AST as stolen on November 19th. The driver was identified as Janet Lanz who was issued a criminal citation for driving without a valid operator's license. The vehicle was released to the registered owner and information regarding the vehicle's recovery was forwarded to AST for further investigation.

On 11/30/17 at approximately 0420 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Fireweed Ave and Hyer Road in Wasilla for a report of criminal mischief. Investigation revealed that the back window of 2002 Subaru Outback was broken out, the owner stated nothing was taken. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Alaska State Troopers at 745-2131.

Dispatch Text: On 11/28/2017 at approximately 1812 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford sedan for an equipment violation near the intersection of the Parks Highway and Knik Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. An investigation revealed Lucinda Mattson, 34 of Wasilla, was operating the vehicle with false vehicle plates. Mattson was issued a criminal citation for AS28.10.481 - Improper Use of Evidence of Registration / Title and provided a court date. Mattson was released from the scene.

Dispatch Text: On 11/28/2017 at approximately 2111 hours, AST responded to Matsu Regional Hospital outside of Palmer for a report of an assault. An investigation revealed a 29 YOA patient assaulted a security guard by punching the security guard in the face twice. The 29 YOA suspect was transported to Matsu Pretrial in Palmer and is being held without bail. The security guard received minor injuries.

Dispatch Text: On 11-29-17 at about 0320 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on Mulchatna Street and contacted a male identified as 38 year old Wasilla resident Justin Schmidt. Investigation revealed Schmidt had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for Probation Violation. He was arrested and remanded to MSPT and held on $5000 bail +CATP.

Dispatch Text: On 11-29-17 at about 1920 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Church Road on a white Ford Explorer for moving violations. Investigation revealed a passenger, identified as Victor Prudhomme, had a pending warrant for Probation Violations. He was arrested and remanded to MSPT and held without bail.

Dispatch Text: On 11/28/17 at approximately 0845 hours Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a two vehicle collision on Knik Goose Bay Road and Foothills Road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Arthur Hippler age 82 of Wasilla was driving his 2005 Ford Taurus down Foothills Road when he turned left onto Knik Goose Bay Road colliding with a 2008 Hyundai Accent driven by Jason Fields age 40 of Wasilla. Fields and Hippler were transported to MSRMC for non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers reported wearing their seatbelts and alcohol was not a factor.

Dispatch Text: On 11/27/2017 at approximately 0914 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a stolen 2014 white, blue and black Polaris Indi 800 with many aftermarket upgrades. Investigation revealed sometime between the hours of 1900 on 11/26/2017 and 0815 hours on 11/27/2017 someone stole the snowmobile from Horizon View Dr. Wasilla. Anyone who has information regarding this theft is requested to Palmer AST at 907-745-2131.

Dispatch Text:On 11/28/17 at 1817 hours Alaska State Troopers received a report of theft from and damage caused to a blue 2010 Dodge pickup at the Trunk and Parks Park and Ride. Investigation revealed unknown suspects damaged property estimated at $800 and stole an estimated $400 in clothing. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call the Alaska State Troopers at 745-2131 or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.
