On October 6, 2017 around 0430 hours Wasilla Police responded to a residence on Glen Cir for a report of domestic violence. Investigation revealed that Smitty Chilligan assaulted his girlfriend. Chilligan was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault in the fourth degree and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.
On October 6, 2017, around 0900 hours Wasilla Police responded to Westpoint Drive for a report of a located stolen vehicle. The vehicle was found to be unoccupied. The vehicle was recovered and information has been passed to the Alaska State Troopers for investigative follow-up.
On October 7, 2017, at 0120 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Walmart for a report of theft.
On October 7, 2017, around 2350 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a residence on Wilder Ave for a report of theft of services. A taxi driver stated their rider refused to pay. Officers attempted contact with the suspect, but were unable to. Investigation is ongoing.
On October 8, 2017, around 1111 hours, a report of theft was received from a property owner on Knik Goose Bay. The gate to the property was destroyed and items were stolen from the yard. Investigation is ongoing.
On October 8, 2017, around 1800 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. Officers made contact with two juveniles and one adult, Karensa Summers. Karensa Summers was issued a citation for Petty Theft in the first degree, and charges of Theft in the fourth degree were forwarded to Juvenile Justice for the two juveniles.
On October 9, 2017, around 0810 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a two vehicle collision at Parks Hwy and Weber St. Driver Joshua Stiebritz was issued a citation for exercise due care to avoid a collision. No injuries were reported.
On October 9, 2017, at 1430 Wasilla Police responded to a two vehicle rear-end collision at Parks Hwy and Lucus Rd. No citations were issued and no injuries were reported.
On October 10, 2017 around 0810 hours Wasilla Police received a counterfeit $10 bill from a citizen.
On October 10, 2017 around 0950 hours, Wasilla Police responded to O'Rielly's Auto Parts for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Investigation revealed that Elliot Mann had altered the license plates on his vehicle and he had an unauthorized weapon on his person. Elliott was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial for Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the third degree.
On October 10, 2017 around 2000 hours, Wasilla Police conducted a traffic stop at Parks Hwy and Church Rd. Investigation revealed that the driver, Shy Lammerman, was not a licensed driver and was driving in violation of her instructional permit. Lammerman was summonsed to appear at Palmer Court.
On October 10, 2017 around 2320 hours, Wasilla Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling 77 mph in a construction zone near the Parks Hwy and Pacific Wy. The vehicle occupants exhibited signs of marijuana use and possession and were not over the age of 21. The vehicle was seized and investigation pending.
On October 10, 2017, at approximately 2043 hours, Wasilla Police was alerted that the Old Post Office building in the Dorothy Page Museum townsite had been broken into. Evidence suggested that the door was kicked in, and the building had been infiltrated by squatters. Later that night Police raided the structure and contacted two males sleeping inside. The subjects were identified as Jonathan Pinckley and Donovan Hoeye both of Wasilla. They were trespassed and escorted from the property. Both were also charged with Criminal Trespassing and summonsed to appear at Palmer Court.
On October 11, 2017 around 0940 hours, Wasilla Police received a report of theft from a residence on Lucille St. Around $700 worth of items were stolen and the suspect was caught on the victim's cameras. Investigation continues.
On October 11, 2017, around 1120 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a two vehicle collision at Palmer-Wasilla Hwy and Hurley St. Driver Michele Savercool was issued a citation for exercise due care to avoid collision. No injuries were reported.
On October 11, 2017, at about 1930 hours, Wasilla Police received a report of an illegal drug sale in the Walgreens parking lot. Police located and identified an involved suspect as Kyle McManus. Investigation revealed McManus was in possession of heroin and methamphetamine, and evidence of distribution. Further, he was in possession of a pistol on his person and three additional pistols with in his control he had not notified the police of. Additionally there was a rifle under the back seat and one more pistol in a lady's purse who was not in the truck at that time. One of the pistols had been reported stolen, and further investigation revealed the rifle and two other pistols may have been stolen as well. McManus was arrested and booked on Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Second and Fourth Degrees, Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the Second Degree, and three counts of MIW in the Fifth Degree. McManus was held without bail pending arraignment. Additional investigation is continued.
On October 12, 2017, at 0357 hours, Wasilla Police responded to an address on Lucus Rd. for a report of a suspicious man who had arrived in a Jeep Patriot. Officers located the man, identified as Jason Chilligan, and placed him under arrest for Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test, and Driving Without a License. Chilligan was remanded at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and was eligible to be released on his own recognizance.
On October 12th, 2017, at approximately 1658 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Fred Meyer for a report of a trespass. Anthony Hays was contacted for the second time that day inside the business. Hays was arrested for criminal trespass in the second degree and remanded at Mat-Su Pretrial where he was held with no bail.

On 10/12/17 at approximately 1823 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance at a residence on N Tiffany Dr in Palmer. Investigation revealed Breanna Erwin, age 22, of Palmer assaulted two people in the residence. She was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT where her bail was set at no bail.

On 10/14/17 at approximately 0018 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 1994 Chevy Blazer for a moving violation. Investigation revealed the driver Erin Kennedy, age 40, of Wasilla had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest. She was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT where her bail was set at $1,500 C/C.
