On 10/16/2017 at approximately 2033 hours, AST contacted a male who was parked in the middle of E Tributary Avenue outside of Palmer. An investigation revealed Murphy Mickey Moo, 34 of Anchorage, was operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance. Murphy was arrested and transported to Matsu Regional Hospital for medical treatment. The vehicle was impounded.

On 10/16/2017 at approximately 1445 hours, dispatch advised a disturbance in progress at a residence on N. Willow Drive in Wasilla. Dispatch advised a female was reporting a male at the residence is shouting and breaking windows. The suspect left on foot prior to trooper arrival but was later found nearby. Investigation reveals Andrew Rutz, age 33 of Wasilla, assaulted a household member and destroyed property items at the residence. Rutz was arrested and charged with DV Assault 4th, Criminal Mischief 4th, Criminal Mischief 5th. Rutz was remanded to Mat Su Pretrial pending arraignment.

On 10/16/2017 at approximately 1320 hours, Troopers responded to a residence on Drift Lane in Palmer for the report of a disturbance. Troopers contacted Katelin Kinneen, age 19 of Palmer, at the residence. Investigation reveals Kinneen had an outstanding warrant for $50 for failure to appear to court. Kinneen was arrested and transported to Mat Su Pretrial.

On 10/15/2017 at approximately 2053 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Burma Road near Susitna Parkway on a Toyota Camry for equipment violations. Investigation revealed the driver, Crystal Churchill, age 31 of Big Lake, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for failure to appear on the original charge of DWLR. Churchill was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial where she was remanded on her warrant.

Investigation revealed James had an outstanding arrest warrant out for probation violation. He was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT where his bail was set at $2,500 and court approved third party.

On 10/15/2017 at approximately 1404 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft in the area of McNesse Park in Wasilla. It was reported that two car ramps had been taken from a residence sometime over the weekend. The estimated value is approximately $100.00.

On 10/15/17 at approximately 1411 hours, AST responded to report of a burglary at a residence located on E. Circle Drive in Wasilla. Investigation revealed someone entered the unlocked residence while the victim was taking a shower. The victim reported two laptops valued at approximately $1400.00, as well as approximately 50 Hydrocodone pills were stolen from the residence. Investigation is continuing.

On 10/14/17 at 0215 hours, AST responded to mile 50 of the Parks Highway in Wasilla for a welfare check. Investigation revealed Shasta Davis, age 37 of Wasilla, was driving under the influence and was arrested for DUI. Davis was transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where she was remanded into custody and released O/R when sober.

On 10/15/17 at 0330 hours, AST responded to a residence on White Birch Drive in Wasilla for the report of a vehicle that had crashed into a residence and fled. AST located the suspect vehicle, a 1990 Subaru wagon, on Knik Goose Bay Road near Donovan Street. Investigation revealed Phillip Ward, age 19 of Anchorage, was driving under the influence, damaged property under $250 in value, and failed to inform AST he had a concealed pistol on his person while under the influence and under 21 years old. Ward was arrested for the original charges of DUI, Minor Operating After Consuming Alcohol, Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 4th Degree, Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 5th Degree x 2 counts, and Criminal Mischief in the 5th Degree. Ward was also issued citations for Minor Consuming Alcohol and Driving While License Suspended. Ward was transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where he was remanded into custody and released O/R when sober.

Investigation revealed Steven had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest. He was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT where his bail was set at no bail.

On 10/06/17 at 2257 hours, AST stopped a blue Volkswagen Jetta for a traffic offense near mile 187 Glenn Hwy. AST investigation revealed the back seat passenger, Thomas Lippy had initially provided a false name. Lippy stated he lied because he is aware he has active arrest warrants. Further investigation revealed Lippy is on conditions of release. Lippy was subsequently arrested on the warrants, False info and VCOR. He was transported and held at Glennallen post pending arraignment.

On 09/30/2017 at 0112 hours, AST stopped a black 4 door Pontiac near mile 111.5 Richardson Hwy for speeding. The driver was identified by Name and DOB as Shawn Sanford, 17 yoa. Investigation resulted in Shawn Sanford being arrested for DUI, MOCA and MCA. Shawn was transported to Glennallen post for processing and was later released to a relative. Three other passengers in the vehicle were cited for Minor Consuming Alcohol.

On 10/05/17 at approximately 0001 hours AST contacted the driver of a dark color Chevy near mile 113 Richardson Hwy. AST investigation resulted in the arrest of John Dye, age 57. The vehicle was towed. After processing, Dye was transported to MSPT and remanded into their custody on a $500 bail or pending arraignment.

AST completed the investigation which resulted in Dummler's arrest for DV Assault 4th. Mark was placed under arrest and transported to MSPT where he was remanded on one count of Assault 4th DV.

On 10-07-17, at approximately 2118 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence near mile 187 Glenn Hwy for the report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed Edward Winishut, age 23 was highly intoxicated and had caused approximately $550.00 damage in the apartment and apartment complex. Winishut was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4 (DV), Criminal Mischief 4, Criminal Trespass 1, and Furnishing Alcohol to a minor. Winishut was transported by AST to Palmer Pre-trial.

On 10-13-17 at approximately 1200 hours, AST Glennallen responded to a report of an overturned semi-tanker at mile 171 of the Richardson Hwy. Investigation revealed that a Big State Logistics semi pulling loaded double fuel tank trailers was northbound on snow-covered road when the rear tank trailer containing 4,000 gallons of diesel fuel slipped off the roadway and overturned. The response crew stated that no diesel leaked out of the tank. The driver, Jeffrey Hill, age 52 of North Pole was issued a citation for speed too fast for conditions.

On 10/14/17 at approximately 1918 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision which occurred at the intersection of E Bogard Rd and Tait Dr. Investigation revealed a gray Ford Ranger operated by Jerome Estes age 58 of Wasilla rear-ended a black Dodge Durango operated by Betty Jean Herbert age 38 of Wasilla. Both vehicles sustained only minor damage and were driven from the scene. No injuries occurred in the collision and all vehicle occupants were wearing seatbelts. Further investigation revealed Estes was operating his vehicle while impaired by alcohol and had a revoked driver's license from a prior DUI. Estes was arrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded into custody to be released on his own recognizance.
