On 10/04/2017 at approximately 2300 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Jurasek Drive in Trapper Creek to contact Arnold Riley Filter, age 64 of Trapper Creek, because he had a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear for arraignment, original charge of DUI, with a bail set at $1500.00. Filter was contacted, arrest, transported and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer.

On 10/3/2017 at approximately 2304 hours, AST contacted a vehicle that appeared to be broken down at the intersection of Armor Court and Bogard Road in Wasilla. An investigation revealed Shalayna M. Barber, 25 YOA of Palmer, was in possession of heroin. Shalayna was issued a criminal citation for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree. Shalayna was released from the scene.

On 10/3/2017 at approximately 2023 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a red sedan for equipment violations near the intersection of the Glenn Highway and Palmer Fishhook. An investigation revealed Dylan Dietze, 20 YOA from Palmer, was in possession of a pistol that was concealed on his person. Dylan was issued a criminal citation for Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the Fifth Degree for being 20 years old while concealing a deadly weapon on his person.

On 10/2/2017 at approximately 0300 hours, AST responded to a residence off of Williwaw Way, Wasilla for reports of an assault. Investigation revealed Christopher Daw, age 43 of Wasilla had assaulted a family member. Daw was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was booked on charges of DV Assault and held without bail.
