On September 4, 2017, Palmer Police issued a Summons to PAUL L. WILTON III, age 22 of Talkeetna, for Driving Without a Valid License.
On September 4, 2017, Palmer Police issued a Summons to LONNIE F. CROUSE III, age 28 of Palmer, for Driving Under the Influence.
On September 4, 2017, Palmer Police arrested KENNETH P. DEGROFF III, age 29 of Wasilla, on a $500 warrant for Theft 2 and a $500 warrant for Petition to Revoke Probation on an Original Charge of Theft 3. DEGROFF was also arrested for False Report. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.
On September 4, 2017, Palmer Police arrested AARON J.C. PATTERSON, age 36 of Anchorage, for Felony Driving Under the Influence. PATTERSON was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where bail was set at $2,500.
On September 4, 2017, Palmer Police arrested AMANDA ADELA CRAIN, age 23 of Anchorage, for Driving Under the Influence and Driving While License Revoked. Crain was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where bail was set at $500.
On September 5, 2017, Palmer Police arrested JAMES E. DUNLOP, age 58 of Wasilla, on a warrant for Failure to Appear for Remand on an Original Charge of Driving While License Revoked and No Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance. DUNLOP was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial with 10 days to serve.
On September 5, 2017, Palmer Police arrested CHANCE J. FLEMING, age 37 of Palmer, for Criminal Trespass 2. FLEMING was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was released on his own recognizance.
On September 7, 2017, Palmer Police arrested ABIGAIL STORRS, age 19 of Palmer, for Disorderly Conduct. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where she was released on her own recognizance.
On September 8, 2017, Palmer Police arrested DAVID PAUL WHITE, age 27 of Palmer, for Driving Under the Influence and Reckless Endangerment. White was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was release on his own recognizance.
On September 8, 2017 Palmer Police responded to the intersection of Arctic Ave and Glenn Hwy for a motor vehicle collision.
On September 8, 2017, Palmer Police received a report from a 33-year-old Anchorage man that some of his jewelry was stolen.
On September 9, 2017, Palmer Police responded to the intersection of S. Glenn Highway and W. Dogwood Avenue for a motor vehicle collision.
On September 10, 2017, Palmer Police received a report from a 48-year-old Palmer man that some of his items had been stolen.
On September 9, 2017 at 1333 hours, Wasilla Police received a REDDI report and conducted a traffic stop in the Carrs parking lot. The driver was identified as Zachary Leopold who was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Leopold was arrested for DUI and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility.
On September 10, 2017 at 0856 hours, Wasilla Police received a report of an intoxicated female and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on N. Main Street. The driver was identified as Colleen Hoffman who was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Hoffman was arrested for DUI and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility.
On September 10, 2017 at 0947 hours, Wasilla Police received a report of a theft. An employee of Fred Meyer reported an unknown male had stolen two 55-inch televisions valued at $1,139.98. The theft was captured on video and the case is currently under investigation.
On September 10, 2017 at 2221 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a single vehicle collision with a moose on the Palmer Wasilla Highway near Rogers Circle.
On September 11, 2017 at 1716 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a motor vehicle collision near the intersection of the Parks Highway and Church Road involving three vehicles.
On September 12, 2017 at 1314 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Walmart after receiving a report of an attempted shoplifting. Officers contacted Chance Fleming who had merchandise concealed on his person. Fleming additionally was breaking a lifetime no trespassing order which had been issued for that location. Fleming was cited for criminal trespass in the second degree and concealment of merchandise.
On September 12, 2017 at 1505 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Target on E. Parks Highway to further investigate a theft which had occurred in August. Evidence was obtained and the case remains under investigation.
On September 12, 2017 at 1540 hours, Wasilla Police responded to the area of Main Street and Herning Avenue after receiving a report of a physical altercation between a male and a female. The female was identified as Maria John who was subsequently arrested for domestic violence assault in the fourth degree.
On September 12, 2017 at 1615 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on the Parks Highway at E. Sun Mountain Avenue.
On September 12, 2017 at 1717 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Blockbuster Video after receiving a report of a suspicious male hanging around the area who was possibly carrying a gun. Officers made contact with a man who was in possession of a double barrel shotgun and some unidentified pills which were seized for safekeeping until the man could prove proof of ownership and show a valid prescription.
On September 12, 2017 at 2247 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a residence on W. Cache Drive for a reported domestic violence protection order. Officers made contact with Oscar Whaley who was subsequently arrested for the offense and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility.
On September 13, 2017 at 0202 hours, Wasilla Police responded to the Four Corners Lounge in Palmer to assist AST when it was reported a highly intoxicated male was attempting to leave the bar in a vehicle. Wasilla Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on Acorn Street after it turned off the Palmer Wasilla Highway. The driver was identified as Samuel Palmer who was subsequently arrested for his 6th DUI making it a felony offense. Palmer was additionally charged with felony refusal to submit to a chemical test and driving while his license was revoked.
On September 14, 2017 at 1929 hours, Wasilla Police responded to Carrs for a reported disturbance where the suspect had left the scene. The victim was found to have been assaulted by Noah Smith. Smith is being charged with assault in the 4th degree.
On September 14, 2017 at 2047 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a motor vehicle collision with a moose.
On September 14, 2017 at 2058 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on the Parks Highway at Deskas Street. The driver of a vehicle had turned into the back wheels of a northbound semi pulling double trailers. The semi continued northbound apparently unaware of the collision. No injuries were reported.

Dispatch Text: On 09/16/2017 at approximately 0423 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on the Parks Highway near Target on a Saturn Vue for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Taylor Foster age 19 of Palmer, was operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol. Foster was arrested for DUI and MOCA and transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was released on his own recognizance.

Dispatch Text: On 9/15/17 at approximately 2130 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a silver Nissan pickup near PWH and Shennum for a moving violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Stephen King age 30 of Wasilla, was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol. Further investigation revealed King had two prior DUI convictions within the past 10 years. King was arrested for Felony DUI and later refused to submit to chemical testing. King was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded into custody with bail set at $2500 plus a Court Approved Third Party Custodian requirement.

Dispatch Text: On 9/15/17 at approximately 2318 hours, Alaska State Trooper conducted a welfare check on several vehicles on the side of Vine Rd in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Carolann Miller, age 49, of Wasilla had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest. She was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT.

Dispatch Text: On 09/15/2017 at approximately 1752 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft on White Stag Circle in Houston. Investigation revealed someone had gained access to the gated property and stole a 2005, Intermountain RV, Eagle Cap slide in camper. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Alaska State Troopers at 352-5401 or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.

Dispatch Text: On 09/14/2017 at approximately 2113 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision with a moose at mile 61 of the Parks Highway in the Willow area. Terrell Hewett, age 39, of Willow, was driving his 2005 Dodge Neon northbound on the Parks when he collided with the moose. Hewett was transported to Mat-Su Regional to receive treatment for minor injuries. A local charity salvaged the animal.

On 9/14/17 at approximately 1851 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted Anna Martinez, age 28, of Wasilla. Investigation revealed she had two outstanding warrants out for her arrest out of state. Those states advised they would extradite her and she was arrested. She was transported and remanded to MSPT until those states arrange for her transportation.
