On 9/18/17 at 0459 hours, AST responded to a residence near Sprucewood Dr in Wasilla for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed that Nick Theodore, age 38 of Wasilla, had assaulted the victim and also drove while under the influence of alcohol. Nick was arrested and remanded at Mat-Su pretrial for Assault 4 DV and DUI.

On 9/19/17 at about 0410 hours, the Alaska State Troopers observed a suspicious male near the Tesoro on Bogard Road. The male, identified later as 34 year old Samuel Tucker of Palmer, got in a vehicle and left at a high rate of speed before Troopers could make contact. While fleeing the area, Tucker failed to negotiate a curve on Cottonwood Loop and lost control of his vehicle. Troopers took him into custody without incident. He was arrested for Reckless Driving and remanded to MSPT, where he was held on $1000 bail. The investigation continues.

On 9/18/17, at 2117 hours AST contacted Dawn McArthur, age 39 of Wasilla, for a report of giving prescription pills to an inmate at Goose Creek Correctional Facility. Dawn was arrested for the original charge of Promoting Contraband in the 1st Degree and remanded at Mat-Su pretrial facility where she was held on $750 bail.

On 09/17/2017 at approximately 2129 hours the Alaska State Troopers, MATSAR and Matsu Borough EMS responded to the area of Bernie Cir. in Wasilla for the report of a Missing Person. A female subject failed to return home from walk on a trail behind her residence. The female was located in the early hours of 09/18/2017 with the assistance of the MATSAR Search and Rescue K9. The female was transported to Matsu Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

On 09/16/2017 at approximately 1915 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 1988 white Mazda pickup for multiple equipment violations at mile three of Petersville Road in Trapper Creek. An investigation revealed the driver, Arnold Riley Filter, age 64 of Trapper Creek, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Filter was placed under arrest for DUI, transported and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer.

On September 16, 2017 at about 1745 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted Crystal Churchill, 31 of Wasilla, on a traffic stop for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed Churchill was operating a motor vehicle while her privilege to drive was revoked. Churchill was issued a misdemeanor citation to appear in court and released from the scene.

On September 16, 2017 at about 1238 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted Jeremiah Proveauex, 30 of Houston, and Tarah Way, 32 of Houston, on a traffic stop. Investigation revealed Proveauex was operating a motor vehicle while his privilege to drive was revoked. Way, a validly licensed driver, had knowledge Proveauex's privilege to drive was revoked. Further investigation revealed that the registration plates did not belong to the pickup truck Proveauex was operating; a check of the VIN revealed the pickup truck was stolen. Proveauex was issued a misdemeanor citation to appear in court for mis-use of registration. Way was also issued a misdemeanor citation for permitting an unauthorized person to drive. Investigation into the stolen pickup truck is still under investigation.
