Palmer Police Department

On September 18, 2017, Palmer Police arrested KAYLA JIMENEZ, age 24 of Wasilla, on a $500 warrant for Theft 2. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.

On September 19, 2017, Palmer Police received a report from a 61-year-old man of Wasilla, that some of his items were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot.

On September 19, 2017, Palmer Police arrested WILLIAM A. DANIELS, age 51 of Palmer, for Assault 4. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where bail was set at $500.

On September 19, 2017, a 21-year-old woman, of Wasilla, reported her car key was stolen while she was in a business.

On September 20, 2017, a 67-year-old man, of Palmer, reported some of his belongings were stolen from his residence.

On September 20, 2017, a 52-year-old man, of Wasilla, reported several items were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot.

On September 21, 2017, a 53-year-old man, of Palmer, reported two students had some of their items stolen from Palmer High School.

On September 21, 2017, Palmer Police issued a Summons to SHARI CRANE, age 36 of Wasilla, for Driving Without a Valid Operator’s License.

On September 22, 2017, a 22-year-old man, of Palmer, reported the front passenger window of his vehicle was shattered and several items were stolen from inside the vehicle while it was parked in front of his residence overnight.

On September 22, 2017, Palmer Police issued a Summons to NICHOLAS D. CAMPANELLA, age 23 of Palmer, for Driving in Violation of An Instructional Permit.

On September 23, 2017, Palmer Police forwarded charges of Criminal Mischief 3 on a 14-year-old female juvenile.

On September 24, 2017, Palmer Police arrested RALPH LEE LEWIS, age 47 of Wasilla, for Driving While License Revoked and Failure to Maintain Liability Insurance. Lewis was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was released on his own recognizance.

On 9/27/2017, approximately 1850 hours, Alaska State Troopers investigated a reported theft of ATV tires & wheels from a residence on W. Waldal Drive, Wasilla. Investigation revealed that sometime in the preceding 10 days unknown suspect(s) entered the property and removed four ATV tires, mounted on wheels & valued at approximately $400. Anyone with any information regarding this investigation is asked to call either the Alaska State Troopers at 907)373-8300 or Crime Stoppers at (907)745-3333.

On 09/27/17 at approximately 1200 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a single vehicle rollover near the intersection of Parks Hwy and Fireweed Rd, in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that the driver, Otis S. Reaves, age 50, of Palmer, was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Reaves was arrested for DUI and transported to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility where he was remanded and released on his own recognizance approximately one hour later. Another hour later, Reaves was contacted for a disturbance by Palmer Police Department personnel. Troopers responded and assisted Palmer PD in arresting Reaves for additional charges.

On 09/27/2017 at approximately1525 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a report of Fraudulent use of an Access Device. The victim reported that their credit cards were stolen and used without permission. Investigation continues.

On 9/27/2017 at approximately 0919 hours, Alaska State Troopers performed a traffic stop near 13.5 Mile of Knik Goose Bay Rd, in Wasilla, on silver 2005 GMC pickup for an equipment violation. After Troopers made initial contact, the suspect accelerated away at a high rate of speed. Alaska State Troopers pursued the vehicle until it crashed into a ditch. A foot pursuit was initiated and the driver was taken into custody. Investigation revealed Justin Dillon, age 29, of Wasilla had an outstanding APD warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of OUI. Dillon was arrested at the scene for his original APD warrant as well as the charges of Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Police Officer in the Second Degree, DWLR, and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. Dillon was remanded to MSPT where he was held without bail.

On 9/27/17 at 0910 hours, AST responded to a residence on Bogard Road for a report of Burglary and Theft. Investigation revealed that someone broke into the residence and stole approximately $4,000 worth of tools. Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call the Alaska State Troopers at 373-8300.

On 09/26/17 at 2010 hours, AST received a REDDI report regarding a 2008 Subaru Outback driving erratically near mile 80 of the Parks Highway in Willow. Within 3 minutes of the call, AST located the Subaru at a pullout near mile 76 of the Parks Highway. Investigation revealed Amy Craver, age 51 of Anchorage, was driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for DUI. Craver was transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where she was remanded into custody and held on $1,000 bail.

On 2/26/2017at approximately 2345 hours, the Alaska State Troopers performed a traffic stop on a red Ford pickup truck for moving violations on Church Road. Investigation revealed a passenger, identified as 25 year old Nicolas Patterson of Wasilla had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for failure to appear. Patterson was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial and held on $2500 cash bail plus CATP.

On 09/26/17 at about 1125 hours, Alaska State Troopers working the Highway safety corridor on the Kink Goose Bay Road, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violation. Investigation revealed driver 35 year old, Wasilla resident Tiffany Low was driving on a revoked, suspended license for a previous DUI and did not have current proof of insurance. Passenger 37 year old Wasilla resident Shannon Reale had outstanding Probation warrant. Low was issued several citations and released at the scene. Reale was arrested and transported and remanded to MSPT. Bail was set as per the warrant of $5000 and court approved third party. Additional charges for Reale are pending and will be forwarded to the Palmer DA office.

On 09/24/2017, at approximately 1223 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Adventure Way, in Trapper Creek, for a report of a suspicious minivan. Troopers located the vehicle in a driveway and contacted Kyle G. Swann, age 26, of Trapper Creek. Investigation revealed Swann had an outstanding arrest warrant on the charges of Robbery II, Assault IV, and Theft. Swann was arrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded on $3,000 bail.
