April 11, 10:55 p.m., East Ruth Drive, Wasilla. Responding to a reported domestic dispute, troopers arrested 28-year old Lance S. Owen for fourth-degree domestic violence assault and second-degree harassment. According to police, Owen allegedly assaulted a family member at the residence causing minor injury after taunting the individual and provoking a physical altercation. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
April 11, 8:32 p.m., Parks Highway-Seward Meridian Parkway, Wasilla. Troopers cited 22-year old Mercedes Carpenter of Anchorage for second-degree failure to stop at the direction of a police officer and no valid operator's license. According to reports, troopers attempted to stop Carpenter who they allege continue driving for approximately a half-mile running a red light in the process.
April 12, 10:15 p.m., Kipling Drive, Wasilla. Troopers arrested 29-year old Qalgilan J, Miller of Wasilla for DUI-drugs, second-degree eluding and fourth-degree domestic violence assault. According to reports, Miller allegedly threatened to kill family members at the residence but fled prior to AST arrival. Miller was later located in a nearby subdivision driving while, according to police impaired by a controlled substance. Troopers state Miller led them on a brief vehicle chase before being arrested. He was remanded to mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
Palmer Police Department
April 3. Police arrested 18-year old Cameron A. McCarthy of Palmer for second-degree robbery, first degree burglary, second-degree theft, fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and fourth-degree assault. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail pending arraignment.
April 4. Police arrested 50-year old Sarah Mae Henry of Palmer for fourth-degree assault. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
April 4. Police arrested 20-year old Nathan W. Hooks of Palmer on a $5,000 probation violation warrant on the original charge of third-degree assault. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
April 6. Police arrested 26-year old Deanna Arlene Tera Walluk of Palmer for first-degree vehicle theft. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where bail was set at $1,000.
April 6. Police arrested 47-year old Daniel K. Martin of Anchorage on a $250 probation violation warrant on the original charge of DUI. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
April 7. Police continue an investigation into a possible assault involving two juveniles.
April 9. Police continue an investigation into a reported stolen wallet from Carrs. A credit card was used to make purchases in Wasilla.
