To the editor,
I read in your recent article “Cops blunt man’s attempt to get busted” that Rocky Burns was trying to be arrested for his involvement in the marijuana delivery business in Alaska. I don’t believe that he deserves to be arrested at all, I mean, if he was really doing something illegal, wouldn’t he be already behind bars? I believe that Burns was trying to make a statement to the public that the marijuana business is entirely legal in the State of Alaska. Perhaps he was trying to show the public that it is okay to engage in business with him, and that it is highly unlikely that they will be in trouble for doing so.
While the drug is illegal to the federal government, in the State of Alaska the local police departments cannot do anything to arrest him, it would take the federal government to step in to do anything at all. I appreciate your work, and your writing was enjoyable to read, please keep up the great work.
