Four Wasilla residents have started the political season early by officially filing with the Alaska Public Offices Commission intending to run for Wasilla mayor.
Wasilla City Councilman Steve Menard, lawyer Verne Rupright, builder Greg Koskela and Marty Metiva, the executive director of the Matanuska-Susitna Resource, Conservation and Development Council, have all filed to run.
