I take offense to politicians who think “We the people” don’t deserve medical care in this country — the same people whose medical care is paid for by “We the people.” Socialized medical care? We already have it. Research proves that there are approximately five private workers for every one public employee. This means that if you figure in contract and other taxpayer-supported jobs, approximately 25 percent of the workforce (public employees) are supported by the other 75 percent of us.
I guess taxpayer—paid health care is OK as long as the politicians are the ones benefiting.
Bottom line, I have never met a Canadian who came to this country to get better health care.
