Portugal. The Man to play two concerts in Anchorage

ANCHORAGE – Moose’s Tooth presents and the Alaska Airlines Center have joined forces to bring you two powerful nights of exciting music with the Alaska grown band Portugal. The Man, fresh off a Grammy win for best Pop Duo/Group performance for the smash single “Feel it Still”. Portugal. The Man will return to their roots for two shows, October 26th & 27th, 2018 at the Alaska Airlines Center.

Portugal. The Man had an incredible 2017, largely due to the runaway success of their inescapable, multi-platinum hit single "Feel It Still," which was undoubtedly one of the biggest songs of the year. Off the band's eighth album Woodstock, the funky, retro-leaning track has hit number one on several Billboard charts - including a record breaking 22-week stint atop the Alternative Songs chart. The tune also earned them their first Grammy award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Portugal. The Man has spent the last decade building a reputation as one of the best live bands in music today. Highly sought after by festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and just about every festival around the globe the band delivers a unique blend of rock music that is not afraid to pay tribute to their influences while pushing the boundaries into the Top 40 world. A fluid performance, without computers but with live instruments (as the band likes to remind people) that borrows from such a diverse musical palette to include The Beatles, Oasis, Wu-Tang Clan, Pantera, Metallica, Weezer, Yes, and countless others.

This is the first show that Moose’s Tooth and the Alaska Airlines Center collaborated together in order to bring the fans of Alaska the best live entertainment experience possible.
