Prep hockey: Big second period lifts Dimond past Palmer

PALMER — Dimond used a five-goal second period to grab a 9-5 nonconference win over the Palmer Moose Tuesday at the MTA Events Center in Palmer.

Darian Wilson and David Scully each scored a pair of goals for the Moose in the loss. Noah Keil added a score and four assists, factoring into all five Palmer goals. Wilson and Ethan Welch chipped in two assists each.

DImond outshot Palmer 37-23 in the win. Jaiden Gibson notched a hat trick for the Lynx. Dylan Hoey scored twice. Jakob Hall had a goal and three assists.
