Prep hockey: Moose blast Mariners

HOMER — Sophomore Ivan Good scored four times to lead the Palmer Moose to an 8-1 North Star Conference win over the Homer Mariners in Homer on Thursday.

Freshman Zane Jerman scored his first career goal for the Moose in the win.

Steven Acher, Dalton Buness and Piers LaFrance also scored for Palmer.

Late rally lifts Birds

PALMER — The East Anchorage Thunderbirds scored four unanswered goals to post a 4-1 win over the Palmer Moose at the Palmer Ice Arena on Tueday.

Stephen Acher set up a Dalton Buness score early in the first period for the Moose.
