WASILLA — Fueled by a fast start, Wasilla cruised to an 83-46 win over North Pole Thursday at Wasilla High School.
Cameron Brown hit a pair of first-quarter three-pointers, and Emillio Carney and Alex Baham also had first-quarter threes. Wasilla jumped to a 20-4 first-quarter lead and held a 42-13 advantage at halftime.
Baham knocked down four three-pointers and scored a game-best 27 points.

PALMER — The Colony Knights enjoyed a quick start from behind the arc and scored a 71-58 nonconference win over West Valley at Colony High Thursday.
Bailey West and Damien Fulp combined for five first-quarter three-pointers as Colony raced to an early 25-14 lead. West finished with a game-high four three-pointers in the win and scored 14 points. Colony hit 10 shots from behind the arc in the game.
Fulp poured in a game-high 20. He was 7 of 10 from the free throw line.
West Valley trailed 54-25 through three quarters. The Wolfpack managed nearly half their points in the final quarter.

PALMER — Colony used a 25-point third quarter to beat North Pole 69-41 in nonconference play at Colony High Friday.
Graham Dinkel led Colony with 22 points. Damien Fulp added 16.
PALMER — After trailing at halftime, Lathrop rallied to score a 51-40 nonconference road win over Palmer at Palmer High Thursday.
Palmer led 29-23 at halftime, but Lathrop jumped back into the game with a 14-5 third-quarter run.
Adam Ramoth led Palmer with 18. James Nisbett added nine for the Moose, and Brady Southwick chipped in six.
Kyle Carlson led Lathrop with a game-high 20.

PALMER — West Valley finished without a field goal in the fourth quarter, but did enough at the free throw line to prevent a Palmer rally and score a 42-39 nonconference in over the Moose Friday in Palmer.
The Wolfpack were 12 of 14 from the stripe during the final eight minutes. Ruthy Hebard, who scored a game-high 20 points, was 6 of 8 from the free throw line in the fourth for West Valley.
West Valley only had three total field goals in the second half.
The Moose fell behind early, scoring only one point in the first quarter.
Taylor Ledger scored a team-high 13 for the Moose.

Wasilla’s game against North Pole Thursday was canceled after the Patriots opted not to make the trip to the Valley.
