Palmer senior Spencer Bloom has been named the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman Student-Athlete of the Week.
Bloom was named the boys “Most Outstanding Swimmer” following the Valdez Invitational in Valdez last Saturday.
Bloom won four events during the meet to help the Moose finished first in the boys standings and overall combined standings. Bloom won the 100-yard freestyle, 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke twice.
The Frontiersman congratulate the Bloom on his success.
