Palmer High School senior Kyle Titus has been named the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman Prep Student-Athlete of the Week.
The junior guard nailed seven three-pointers during Palmer’s 57-47 boys’ basketball win over the Colony Knights at Colony High School last Friday.
Four of Titus’ shots from beyond the arc came during the third quarter. Titus scored a game-high 24 points in the victory.
The following afternoon, Titus drained five more three-pointers during a game against North Pole.
“When he’s on, he’s on,” Titus’ teammate Brennan Bohman said after the Colony win. “There’s no stopping him.”
The Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman congratulates Titus on his
success.
