President announces administration appointees

Now that Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President, the new Commander-in-Chief got straight to work, appointing several individuals to perform the functions and duties of his cabinet, in an acting capacity until the position is filled by appointment, as his nominees go through their Senate committee hearings, which is part of the nomination process.

Here are the acting Secretaries for the Department of Defense:

Robert Salesses is the acting Secretary of Defense

Mark Averill is the acting Secretary of the Army

Terence Emmert is the acting Secretary of the Navy

Gary Ashworth is the acting Secretary of the Air Force

Todd Hunter is the acting Secretary of Veterans Affairs
