Thank you for the great coverage of the construction of the Port MacKenzie Rail Extension last Friday. One clarification: the engineering design of this railway is being performed for the Mat-Su Borough and Alaska Railroad Corp. through a contract with Hanson Alaska LLC. Hanson’s team includes Shannon and Wilson Inc., SurvBase LLC and Sustainable Design Group LLC. These local firms have been privileged to serve MSB and ARRC on this key project since 2007.
