Promote your candidate rather than smearing the other

To the editor:

Shall I join in the bashing of Brian Endle four days before the election? Three letters written about how unworthy Brian Engde is rather than promoting their candidate Tim Hale appears like an orchestrated effort from the Hale campaign to smear a little mud just before the election. I am surprised to see the derogatory remarks about Brian because this is not the Brian Endle I know

I’m not going to bring myself to the level of criticizing Tim Hale because Tim does a good job and is honest, but I’ve known Brian a long time and he has demonstrated leadership qualities that are quite different than the description of him In Friday’s paper. I’m urging people to vote for Brian Engle for assembly and Jim Hart for school Board because we need members for the assembly and the school board that are proactive not reactive. Brian and Jim have demonstrated leadership qualities to take on the biggest problems we have in the valley today: education and drug abuse. We need to vote for people who care about our kids, our community, and jobs in our local economy. Please get out and vote next Tuesday.
