Prop. 1 is dangerous

Stay as far away from Prop 1 as you can.

Developers in California recently attempted to get a proposition just like this passed. They put up millions in an effort to convince voters that the new law would protect property rights for all residents, but it would have been a windfall for those in- and out-of-state developers. Many of these same developers were buying worthless land in hopes the proposition would pass.

This proposition will allow a person or company to make a claim against the Mat-Su Borough if they are denied full use of their land. If they say that they want to build a subdivision full of homes on worthless land that would then be worth a great amount of money, but the Borough says no to the project for whatever reason, they could claim a loss for the money based on the value of the completed project.
