Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

WASILLA — 1964 Motion Pictures is looking for actors and crewmembers for its upcoming independent film “Proper Binge,” written, produced and directed by award-winning filmmakers Dean Q. Mitchell and Michael Burns. A casting call is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Dec. 17-18 at the Wasilla Business Park, Building D, Suite 63, 190 East Paulson Ave., Wasilla. The project will be filmed this summer in Wasilla and the surrounding area.
Interested people should bring a resume and/or demo (preferably on data-CD or DVD) to the audition. Experienced actors preferred. Casting is for the following roles:
• Burgess “Buzz” Zwink is age 25 to 35, loves to drink and will be drunk for a good part of the movie.
• Brianna Larson is 25 to 35 and is an ex-drinker with a lot of pent-up frustration.
• Alex Gubser is 15 to 25 and is an Inupiaq Eskimo who loves modern technology, especially in the media world.
• Uncle Harvey is 45 to 65 and is a wise Inupiaq Eskimo who never says a whole lot.
• Four males ages 25 to 65 of any size, shape and color.
• A large number of extras for multiple scenes.
