A community-minded leader sought for Publisher of the Frontiersman

The Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman is looking for a leader with solid experience in management and a desire to coach and learn in a transformative business environment.

The Frontiersman has been growing as the Valley’s hometown newspaper since 1947, serving as the voice and guide of community news and information. Our local team of advertising consultants and newsroom of local journalists are key in serving local businesses and readers’ interests.

The ideal person for this job will have strong leadership abilities, a commitment to community engagement and a passion for providing quality fact-based journalism to our readership area.

The Frontiersman is a multimedia operation consisting of a twice-a-week printed newspaper, robust audience engagement through our website and associated digital products, ie. emails, Frontiersman app and social media pages, and printed niche products.

We have an experienced staff in place and need that next leader to execute strategies that will move us to the next level.

This is an executive level position and the compensation package is up to $120K a year, consisting of base salary, bonus potential, PTO and other executive allowances.
