Throughout December, hundreds of motorists drive through Cottonwood Shores subdivision to get a peak at Santa and his elves.

At Jan and Jerry Foldenauer's home in the subdivision, the Christmas spirit is alive and well.

Thousands of lights bring a festive mood, and several homemade buildings out front give passers-by a chance to see Santa's elves working in the workshop, as well as Santa and Mrs. Claus dancing around a Christmas tree.

The scenes are extremely popular, as up to 250 cars can be spotted driving by the home on a typical December weekend.

Many stop to snap pictures and revel in the Christmas spirit.

The Foldenauers are planning a move out of state, a neighbor said this weekend, so this is the last chance for people to get a good look at one of the Valley's best lighted displays.
