Questions CNN

To the editor:

This morning, CNN televised an indignant story regarding the state Board of Game's decision to allow aerial bear hunting.

Where was that indignation when Troy Gentry of the country duo Montgomery-Gentry shot a tame bear through the bars of a cage in order to fake a filmed bear "hunt?"

When Gentry was turned in by someone who couldn't stomach such a cowardly and dishonest action, he (Gentry) never took responsibility directly, instead quietly apologized for "allowing his guide to fill out his tag incorrectly" (or some such crap). It was a flash-in-the-pan story at best.

It doesn't take much to rev up the "Eco Idiot Army" ("know nothing, protest everything, solicit money"), interference Alaska doesn't need or deserve.
