The Willow Iditaquilter’s Guild wants to correct a May 9 Frontiersman article which reported that we “balked” at using this Historic Log Building — the former Willow Community Center.
We have looked at this Historic Bldg. and feel that all concerns have been addressed.
As a quilt guild, we find that the building has value and would be interested in using it for future quilting functions on a limited basis.
As part of the Willow Community we support efforts to preserve this Historic Bldg. as a venue for displays or shows regarding Willow's history, it's people, it's wildlife and flora.
