Race to the Outhouse winners crowned

Josh Smith and Donna Ford were winners of the Ma-Su Ski Clubs Race to the Outhouse 2 freestyle skating competition April 7.

Smith was the men’s winner, finishing the 6.5-kilometer route — which included a 920-foot vertical climb in Archangel Road — in 34 minutes and 52 seconds. Ford, the women’s winner, finished in 49:12.

In the classic race, Dan Harrison was the top men’s finisher in 1:33:34, while Kathleen Baroon won the women’s race in 1:13:12.
