Ms. Rachel passed away on December 7, 2021. Rachel lived an adventurous and full life and was blessed with four sons, “Sonny”, “Jay”, “Rusty”, and John; two daughters, “Randi” and “Wendy” and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rachel was a WWII POW and grew up in the Philippines where she always dreamt of living in Alaska where she lived on her terms. Rachel enjoyed the outdoors and the beauty and majesty of Alaska. She loved going to church, spending time with friends and family, fishing, camping, and anything else that involved being outside. Ms. Rachel adored her heavenly Father and her Savior Jesus Christ and she made sure all those around her knew that. Even though she had experienced more than her fair share of trials in life, she possessed a sweetness and a joy about her that clearly went beyond this world. She will be missed, but we who knew her well know she is truly home now. She is predeceased by both of her husbands, Charles Block and Joseph Morrison. A celebration of life service will be held at Real Life Church, 10697 E Palmer Wasilla Hwy, Palmer, AK at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
