BUTTE — Rains may have delayed the action, but weather didn’t stop drivers from hitting the quarter-mile strip last weekend at Alaska Raceway Park, outside of Palmer.

Highlights included Chugiak’s Rick Nissen winning the Alaska Raceway Park King of the Street bracket race and Wasilla’s Mark Eslinger winning top dragster honors.
