One Mat-Su Borough Assembly candidate in District 1 has excellent qualifications, and that’s Warren Keogh. He’s lived in the Valley for more than 30 years and has spent considerable time as a local community leader. I especially appreciate his long working history in public safety as a professional paramedic, firefighter, and EMT instructor. With his years of firsthand experience in EMS and fire service, he understands the sacrifices emergency responders make, the challenges and hazards they face and the importance of keeping borough emergency services well-funded.
Warren also understands the huge challenges of funding schools, finding ways to develop better jobs and keep important borough services going. He has walked all parts of the district, knocking on doors, getting to know people and their concerns. Please join me in voting for Warren Keogh. I think he has what it takes.
