Scribbles also advises that prospective artists take care that the objects they use are completely clean. If the objects are dirty and made of something that cannot be washed and dried, using it for artistic purposes might not be wise.
Using recycled materials for crafts is a great way to raise awareness not only of the variety of techniques available to today's modern artist, but also of the value of the entire recycling process.
And, regardless of the skill of the artist, everyone agrees that discarded materials are put to better use in a studio than in a landfill.
