TRAPPER CREEK — Alaska State Troopers arrested an Anchorage man for assault, weapons misconduct and drunken driving after he allegedly was drunk and assaulted his property manager with a handgun before driving away from the scene Saturday afternoon.
Mat-Com received a report of a dangerous driver on Susitna River Road in Trapper Creek at 4:43 p.m., July 7. The complainant also reported the assault.
Troopers stopped Andrew Marquez, 26, while driving a vehicle on Susitna River Road and subsequently arrested him for third degree assault, driving drunk and fourth degree weapons misconduct.
Marquez was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and remanded with a bail of $10,000 cash performance and a court-approved, third party to watch over him.
