WASILLA — Monday, the Redington Huskies used a big second half to get past Bristol Bay. Things went a bit differently on Tuesday.
Despite only a combined 10 points during the final two quarters, Redington held on for a 40-36 boys basketball victory over Susitna Valley at Redington.
Redington was held to only six in the third and four in the fourth, but a 30-point first half allowed the Huskies to score their second win in as many nights and fourth in the last five games.
Jaycob Elliott scored 13 points for Redington. Bristin Conway added nine, and Brody Brooks chipped in eight.
Daniel Kehoe led Su Valley with 13 points.
